remember America didn't give up when Germany bombed Pearl Harbour.

i hope to God you are not that stupid.

let me guess, you are one of our wonderkind Gen X sloths who never paid attention to anything while growing up other than MTV and video games.

Have you ever seen a slightly influential comedic film called Animal House?

That's a quote from Animal House.

Wow.

You guys want to blame the fans for a team that is not defending. At all.

And not attacking offensively. At all.

And not rebounding. At all.

Please. That was an absolutely disgraceful display of inept basketball.

I blame fans for lack of energy in the building! Have you ever played in front of a home crowd? It can lift you to greatness. This crowd is not bringing it!  The Celtics need a lift! Home court is supposed to be an advantage!!!

They should legitimately have scientists or something study this team and figure out what it is about them that they can't perform on friday nights.

All season and tonight is no different, this team just can't get up for a friday night game.

It's very disturbing

LeBron owned us.  Not surprised.  lets try to tie it up next game and steal another in Cleveland.  This one is over.

Cavs gameplanned... they took Ray out of the game and forced Rondo to take shots.  Bron did the rest by hitting all his shots.

The crowd needs to be cheering their butts off if they want any chance of a C's comeback.

This isn't the regular season they should not be booing.

I do agree with this. And I've been VERY hard on the team this season.

i saw easily 4,000 empty seats at tipoff - the crowd needs to boo themselves for that embarrassment.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Shut up Crowd.

How is booing going to do anything.

Yeah the booing is stupid. The Celtics are playing hard. Cleveland is just delivering their perfect storm. All outside shots are falling and the best player in the NBA is having a berserk game.

Lets see what happens in the second half.
Agreed.  The Cavs were hitting a few lucky shots too, and it's not like we were playing that badly on offense.  That makes me wonder whether Bibby was right back in 08 when he called us fair weather fans.  It's either that, or the real fans like those on here just get priced out of playoff tickets.
Yes, I think it's the same everywhere due to the price increases. A larger number of non-die hard fans + fairly neutral supporters than in the past.

Nice job on the Gen-X stereotyping.  ::)
I guess neither of you have heard of Animal House?

They are what they are and what they have been all year: inconsistent, unpredictable and simply not good enough to win a championship. Nothing wrong with that.

Celtics called for 8 fouls in the first quarter. Cavs called for 7 fouls in the first half.

LOL I've seen games called like this before and the team getting screwed by the calls has never won. Sorry guys stern is putting his boy through to the next round. I gotta go watch some WWE now. This game is too obvious.

+1, Bo. I just made the same point at the bottom of the last page. Now it is the fans' fault that the Celtics forgot to play defense in the first half.
Fully agree. Well said.
