Celtics in 6.

Rondo is going to run through them and KG is going to own Lewis, not to mention no one defends Dwight better than Perk.

Pierce is definitely going to wake up against Vince too.

I have a feeling this series with the Cavs really boosted the C's confidence, when they play their game, no one can beat them.

I am like 10 times less scared now that Turkoglu is gone. He was a matchup nightmare for us.

If Davis isn't cutting it against Lewis, I want to see us go small and see what we can do.
With Pierce at the four + Tony Allen getting an increase in minutes?

I like that idea. A little worried about the rebounding but I like the offense/defense balance and matchups. I think that would be a very good plan.

Tony or Daniels if we need a bit of length in there to help. In either case, we should be able to blow by him offensively. And Lewis isn't much of rebounder and Pierce is stronger, so we should be able to manage.

Though rebounding is certainly an issue with Gortat and/or Howard. Good thing is that we have enough bigs that are capable of single coverage on him. Plus we got Rondo who is an excellent rebounder to help. We just need to crash boards and box out.

But I only hope they consider it, and see what we can do.

I think we see an activated Scalabrine in this series as he really does play excellent defense on Rashard Lewis.

I can see this happening, but I think Williams can also guard him... not sure but I think he's capable. Scal is OK on Lewis, but not good enough. Lewis ate him up last year.

Any team relying heavily on Vince Carter is in big trouble.

Celtics in 6.

The Magic have played great this post-season, but the Celtics have faced two better teams on their way to the ECF.  I think this Celtics team would have gone 4-0 against Orlando in the regular season.

The Celtics have a really solid chance of going to the Finals.  Celtics in 7.

No team can beat healthy Celtics in a 7 game series. We have Orlando's number more than we had Cavs

I'm feeling pretty good about the Orlando series. Even though they're 3-1 against us, their average winning margin was just around 5 pts (96-89, 96-94, 83-78). We beat them once, during that Christmas day showdown, 86-77. But this Celtics team is a totally different beast now. As KG said in his post game 6 interview, the team had chemistry issues. Now with the team finally healthy and the big 3 more than willing to defer to Rondo, this team is more dangerous than ever. It should be a hard fought series, with the Celts taking it in 6 games. I hope I'm right!

Call me crazy, but Sheed's resurgence has me coming up with grand ideas. Dwight can just completely ignore Perkins and that is a huge neutralizer for Pierce and Rondo driving. Only way to draw him out of the paint is Sheed or foul trouble.

We have the 2 best defenses squaring off here.

Let's see if Orlando/JJ Reddick can take Ray Allen out of the series like they did in Last Year's playoffs---it really hurt us...I'm thinking it won't happen again.

I would be more concerned about Orlando if they still had Turkoglu instead of Carter.  We took Orlando to 7 games last year, and that was with Big Baby starting, and Scalabrine and Mikki Moore coming in off the bench.  And even going up against that pitiful frontcourt, Dwight Howard still racked up at least 4 or 5 fouls in every game in that series.  Either rack up some fouls on Howard by posting up KG, or draw him out with Sheed at the top of the key.  I'm not scared of Jameer Nelson, I think Mo Williams is better than him any day, and Rondo will abuse him if we can get Howard out from under the basket or better yet out of the game.  Vince Carter doesn't scare me in the least.  J.J. Reddick is a slightly better but smaller and slower version of Candace Parker.  The one character who concerns me the most in this series is Rashard Lewis.  He's better than Antawn Jamison and longer, and would be a much tougher matchup for KG.  Michael Pietrus also concerns me, he is a hustle player who can bother Pierce or Ray on offence and hit 3s to turn the tide of a game, much like our beloved Posey in 2008.  A championship team needs a guy like that.  Bottom line, Orlando concerns me more than Cleveland.  But, the Celts are peaking at the right time.  And, I feel like the Magic don't really want to go back to the finals anyway.  I feel like deep down, the Magic know that they're a boring team and that the world would be better off if they lose to the Celtics, and that knowledge will affect them subconsciously and they will fold mentally.  Big Baby Davis will play some mind games with them as well and cause them to begin to question but they will not come up with the answers they seek.  My bold prediction: Celts in 5.  Then my bolder prediction: Suns over the Lakers, for a rematch of the 1976 finals!

That won't happen.  This will be a very hard fought series.  The regular season games were all close, even though the Celtics weren't healthy for most of those.

I actually feel pretty good about the Celtics in this series.  We almost beat this team last year without KG!  But the Magic are playing even better this year than they were last year.  It's going to be interesting.
