Milwaukee is shopping its 5th round pick.

Willing to center it around a package to trade up or down.

Interesting.  I think Wallace may be a bit of a reach at this point.

There are two SGs who I think would be perfect to fill out your starting lineup.  I'm curious if either is on your radar.

I liked LJ as a player, but I think he'd struggle against some of these bigger lineups.

Pre-back injury, he was a heck of a player.  2nd best short PF in NBA history (after Barkley)

Now that pick is awesome.

The 2nd C you pick is better then the 1st C you picked.

Just wanted to no what everyones opinion would be as to where I should put larry ar the 3 or the 4?

Definitely the 3.
Definitely the 4.

How so?
If it was early to mid 80's Bird, I would say play him at the three ... but at that point in his career (89-90), I feel better about him defensively playing the four spot.

I also like the idea of the team using a four out one in offense and taking advantage of Larry's shooting + passing ability to create great floor spacing for everyone else.

I'm not sure I'd like the idea of a 32/33 year old Larry Bird defending the likes of some of the PFs that have already been drafted here.  That's a lot of wear & tear on a body that was already pretty susceptible to injury at that point in his career.
Hmm ... the more I think about this the more uncertain I am of which position I'd like to see Larry play.

Very worried about Larry's defense at both positions. His man-to-man defense and his general quickness in team defense. Bird is going to limit that team's defense considerably. Too much offensive talent on these rival teams to hide a player on a regular basis. Against the odd team here and there, sure, but across the board? No.

(1) A power lineup with Larry at the three
(2) A quick floor spacing lineup with Larry at the four

I'll change my initial answer and say choose Larry's position based on the talent available at the other positions. Make Larry's position the secondary decision.

Hard to compare eras, but Unseld was 6'7" and Adrian Dantley was only 6'5".

unless my eyes have deceived me and I missed something Chris Bosh is still on the board, so needing some scoring pop, Portland will select

C/PF - Chris Bosh

2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip
