Even Varejao's off-the-ball acting is pretty impressive.

Call it my cynicism from years of being a Boston fan, but this lead isn't big enough... it's only big enough for what I fear I might read in the papers tomorrow:

"LeBron James overcomes elbow injury and storms back from a 20 point 4th quarter deficit"

come on guys, hold the fort, hold the fort.
Celtics fan for life.

  • Thank you Eddie!
We thought this team was old and tired and ready to retire as recently as game 82.  Now, we're up by 23 entering the 4th in the playoffs against the best team in the NBA on their home court.  I think this team might win the NBA title after all.

[dang], could only get a 3 attempt by Sheed to end the quarter.

feeling pretty good going into the last quarter.

What a quarter!

Sheed with a chance for the exclamation point -- just off -- too bad.

Oh, I'm TERRIFIED.

Worried they're gonna hit Rondo hard on a drive and injure him.

Irrational?

Ok Sheed, I'll let that one slide.  Barely.   :)

Let's remove any doubt from this one in the first 4-5 minutes.  Almost got em now, but don't forget that last regular season game.  Don't want to sweat it out.

That's was by far our best 3d quarter this season. Now we need to close it out in the first 5 minutes of the 4th.

Oh man, if Rasheed hits that three....

we're gonna need 2-3 dagger shots down the stretch. That could've been one of them.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.
