I think for the most part the C's have been called correctly for their fouls. My issues it that Cleveland is playing a similar style of physical defense, and aren't being called for similar infractions.

Yes, that's exactly how I see it. Tough to argue against many called against us, but doesn't look like same standards are being adhered to down the other end. You know all of those pokes aren't fully clean...

the call on tony was a block. he didn't touch varajo at all.
Oh yeah, that was the bad one.

I also thought the other foul by Tony defending LeBron was questionable. Lebron lost his balance and just fell on top of him. But I couldn't see Tony's other arm, he probably reached....

One positive (the only one?) from Sherrod Blakely : "This is the 12th time Rasheed has scored 10 or more points in the 1st half this season. Celtics won 9 of the previous 11."

The Cavaliers are +10 with Varejao on the floor and -14 in the ten minutes he was on the bench.

There's at least one other tiny little positive - we're leading the game   :D.  Easy to lose track of that with the calls and the turnovers.

yeah, the issue with the calls aren't that they're wrong (though it is the playoffs, refs should let some touch fouls go), it's that the cavs get to play more physical on defense with no calls. that's the issue. i get home court advantage, refs usually give you some calls. but you can't force one team to not play physical defense while allowing the other one to do so. most of our turnovers are actually fouls on cleveland. if they don't call them, fine, but then don't call fouls on us for less physical defense.

C's have not come out terribly focussed again.  not a good sign at the moment

a walk on Shaq not called which has resulted in a Shaq offensive board and another C foul.  refs continue to swallow the whistles for Cle
