I am setting the over/under for LeBron's second half scoring at 25

He was pretty quiet offensively ... by his standards

Need a good start in the third. I'd like to have a lead of at least 8 points heading into the fourth quarter.
Our lead is entirely a product of Rasheed shooting 100% from the field. Plus LeBron hasn't asserted himself offensively. At least two of his trips to the line have come from whacks to his "elbow"....

That is a scary thought going into the second half.

PF Count

16-4

Almost no team in NBA history can win a playoff game, on the road vs. a good team, with a disparity like that...unless you play near perfect basketball.

We shot 52 from the field, compared to their 42, and 60 from 3's, yet we are ONLY up 4!!!!!!

NBA basketball has become pretty brutal to watch!

16-4...boston hasn't even shot a FT in this quarter. boston can't even defend without a foul called. what a joke. it makes the game unwatchable and it just is pathetic.

the nba is a seriously flawed product because officials sway the game. just criminal tonight.

how many fouls does james have? ZERO

James starts at a -5 fouls every night!

James hasn't "committed" a foul in 50+ minutes of play now.

How can you call 16 fouls on one team and only 4 on the other? How does one team shot 5ft and the other 18 (and one was due to a technical).

Still if we had not turned the ball over so much, we be up by 10.

And I am setting the over/under for number of FT's for LeQueen at 17.5.

I think he'll go over, but how many possessions will he have to use to get 25?

If its under 25, we're in serious trouble.

He's going to the line 50 times, he should make at least 50%!!!

How can you foul only 4 times in a half as a team? Amazing... and ridiculous.

Quisy on the court, let's see how he does.
Because this league is rigged.  Every game Lebron is involved in is unwatchable because his team can get away with everything short of an Artest Melee.  And even then, Lebron wouldn't be suspended.

You're right. You can tell by the way the Cavs won the title last year.

And the year before.

And the year before.

There's no question there's some serious issue with reffing in the league.

I believe it was Roy who pointed out that they had a guy (Tim Donaghy) fixing and effecting games for multiple seasons and no one noticed.

That speaks volumes.

Yeah I agree with you (I really do), but still...

It's just like post after post of complaining about the officials. If you really think the game is fixed, why watch? Why post here?

Anyway, I should take my own advice and check out of this thread.

Let's hope we play better in the second half. Hold onto the ball, and get something out of KG (who looks bad) and PP (who looks terrible).

Random prediction:

Rondo will score at least 15 points in the second half.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

How many did he commit they missed?

I've seen at least 2 - grabbing Pierce around the waist on a drive and body-checking and hacking KG on that layup in the 1st.  Might be more.

I agree the refs aren't making calls up, but there seems to be a different standard of contact allowed on each end.  They let a lot go early both ways, but after the first 6 minutes or so the calls seemed to tighten up on our end but not theirs.

That said, we're still doing pretty well.  It looks like embarrassment is doing for Sheed what pride wouldn't.  If he can play at all like this going forward, I like our chances.

I don't mind the free throw disparity as much, we fouled clearly in shooting situations more often.

At least four turnovers were off pretty clear whacks or shoves too. No calls, arghh..
