Jamison is the key match-up ... definitely my secondary concern.

went with Varejao over Jamison.  Cavs are a different team with him on the floor instead of Shaq or Z and we don't have anyone that has managed to contain him yet.  He does a lot of the little (and some big) things that win games.

Gotta be AV.

His rebounding and defense will be the keys to the series. And remember, it's usually rebounding and defense that wins championships. If AV is a force on the offensive boards and causing turnovers and blocking shots on the defensive end, that's just more possessions on the offensive end for this very dangerous Cleveland team.

Jamison.

The only way the Cavs beat the Celtics is if someone else provides that constant 20 points a game to take pressure off Lebron.

Verejao's the guy. He killed us all year and unless someone stops him he'll do it again.

Varejao! KG can`t do anything against him. Cavs` best defender, rebounder, energy guy...

Jamison is the key match-up ... definitely my secondary concern.

I agree simple because we know what to expect from everyone else:

DWest - streaky shooting with penetration and passing as he's not a strong finisher around the bucket

MoWill- same as D-West but the shooting is even streakier. Think Eddie House.

Shaq - 10pts, 10reb, 2 blocks is what I expect on a nightly basis from Shaq although those numbers are if he plays well. He obviously wont get a double-double every game though.

AVarejao - Obviously the most concerning because of his headache causing hustle and muscle. He's young and he always gets up from the floor. Oh and he seems to be an improved FT shooter as well (gulp).

AParker - he will have 1 Michael Jordan-esque blind finish around the bucket in this series so book that now. He'll also hit a couple of 3's from the baseline corner where it looks like he's fading for no reason with a terrible angle, but he'll find a way to bury 2 of those. Much like Delonte he's not a strong finisher around the basket and is simply a "wait till Lebron gets stuck and passes it to me for a bail-out 3-ball" guy.

J.Moon - same as parker only a worse defender and a worse shooter. I'd actually welcome this guy hoisting 3's all series long.

JAMESON - MY VOTE - is the true x-factor of the series. Are we going to see 27% shooting from the line or 80%? Is he going to have confidence in the post or is he going to be overwhelmed with his lack of size? Is he going to be draining 3's to stretch the floor or is he going to be rimming out and getting frustrated? X-Factor.

Jamison i consider a weakness for the Cavs as he simply is no match for KG--KG will abuse him and force the Cavs to change their lineup

Mo Williams has shot the 3 very well when Rondo roams.

Next fear for me would be Verajao and we will need Big Baby to match his energy and KG to work the boards when Verajao is in the game.

I'm going AV.  I think Jameson could be a problem depending on the team defense and whether they KG can close out his rotations on him.  Otherwise I have no problem believing KG will Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. down AJ one-on-one.

AV on the other hand is just a tough match-up.  We have no one on the bench that can match his length.  KG plays poorly against him.  Glen is going to have to continue to box out well and grab big boards to minimize this guys impact.

IMO the biggest part of the C's beating Cle is limiting their second chance opportunities.  The C's need the Cavs to go down spend 20 seconds trying to get up a shot and then get back on defense.  You start giving the Cavs second chances they are going to start breaking down the defense and getting good looks on missed rotations.

AV, IMO is the guy that gives them this edge.  Jameson may very well be the guy that capitalizes on it.

As for the others Mo, DW and AP are streaky enough that they may help facilitate one win but they are not going to provide the robin to lebrons batman, particularly not with Rondo and TA guarding them.   Perk can handle SO and has done so in the past. Moon is an after thought.

I'll say Jamison.  Even though we've contained him very well, he has the type of inside/outside game that can make him a difference maker.

Has Mo Williams ever missed a 3-point shot against us?  I mean, really.  Anyone have the percentage mo is shooting against us?

In his career, he's 30/65 (46.1%).

This season, he was 12/22 (54.5%), and last season he was 8/14 (57.1%).

Im most worried about Hickson, he has killed us during the regular season.  And active bigs have given us trouble all year long.
