he's going to expected to be hit hard, I say we play straight up D on him and if he goes off then go for some hard hits

The messiah is not going to expect to be hit at all...And he won't be touched...As usual.

That's the whole idea with this silly injury ploy.  Brilliant move by the messiah and Cav's management.

I find it funny how many C's fan are calling this an "injury ploy", yet probably defend Pierce when he pulls similar antics.  I don't see anything to be gained by faking an injury.

No, don't you see - this is almost certainly not a real injury - given the facts, it's much more likely to be a massive conspiracy plotted weeks in advance by LeBron, his teammates and coaches, the Cavs' training staff, team management, the league office, the referees, and the doctors who examined him.  I think the Illuminati may be involved somehow too, but we'll put that in the "maybe" pile for now.  This is how I see the master plan breaking down:

Step 1: Make up a phony injury, with the complicity of dozens if not hundreds of individuals, all of whom will cheerfully risk their professional reputation and/or career to do so and will never, ever reveal the horrible truth.
Step 2: ? ? ?
Step 3: Profit!

The beauty of the plan is its simplicity  ::)

Heh, if it isn't a real injury then why should I as a paying customer waste my money watching something that is obviously rigged? I mean it's not like I can't be doing something else besides 'Witness'-ing the NBA try and rig playoff series(') for Le'Fraud' ...  :P

I hope that it is a real injury and they are covering it up like with KG's knee but either way the bottom line is that we are able to beat them regardless of LeBron's current health status.

  • Rondo = Good
I think the most we can hope for is that this injury throws off LeBron's jumper, forcing him to drive or give up the ball to teammates.

Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

LeBron Says He Knows How To Respond If Celtics Get Rough

Perhaps intended as a warning to Boston, LeBron James indicated that he would respond to the Celtics' physical play if they try to exacerbate his elbow injury.

"That’s fine," James said. "I know a lot of those guys have injuries, too, so I’ll be fine."

Mike Brown thinks the Celtics will play their normal aggressive game.

"They’re a physical team anyways," Brown said. "Whether the elbow’s there or not, their mind-set is to be physical coming into the series."

I chuckle about how Lebron has already built in his excuse for when... I mean if... they lose.

I think what he means is "don't touch me, because I will pretend that you attacked my injured elbow and cry like a baby until Stern suspends all of you!"

You absolutely right. His only retaliation will be in the form of bawling to the refs along with his coach
