A few missed bunnies, some ill-advised threes and three 90-year-old officials, and suddenly you lose a game you should´ve won.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

give the cavs credit, they did play well. but we were at a major disadvantage with the refs all night long. next game, we need to just keep attacking, not getting calls while they get every one, and conjure up memories of the lakers-kings 2002 series.

Tough to see us lose and waste that great game by Rondo.  Plenty of other solid play, but not enough.  Coulda, shoulda, woulda.

On a positive note, we now know we can put the fear in them at home.  Just a little bit more next time guys.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Also thought that Shaq putback was still on the rim.

Despite the clear difference in fouls, this game came down to not making 2 or 3 shots down the stretch. So with the refs giving Cleveland every borderline call (and some that weren't), the difference was 2-3 possessions. If you're on the Celtics you have to come back and fight like devils to win those possessions in game 2.

Watching that game, you should absolutely positively believe the Celtics can win this series in 6.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

There's 5 TP's for anyone who makes a video pointing out this horribly officiated game. Just PM me when you get it done, thanks.

Wow..this one hurt, but did anyone see Pierce get hurt or something? We could've used his points..the refs hurt us, too.

It's even more obvious to me that Stern wants Lebron and Kobe in the Finals.

Rondo and KG get called for those offensive fouls...Hickson steps on the line on the putback-NO CALL...KG gets fouled by SHAQ going to the hoop in the 4th-NO CALL..Pierce goes to the basket--NO CALL...I HATE David Stern and this FIXED BS NBA.....sorry, but we OUTPLAYED the Cavs tonight--and they KEPT them in it to give them LIFE and HOPE---enough to win this game...NICE.

The Big Three were a combined 20-51 from the field. Only got 2 FTs.

They scored a combined 45 points.

Frustrating game. Poor shooting in the second half by us and some costly turnovers. However the reffing was so one sided it was sick. Announcing is even one sided. Watched the game with my dad and my mother (who doesn't follow basketball) commented that the announcing was one sided.

  • GOT IT!!!
C's couldn't close it out. This will be a tight series. Refs aren't doing the C's any favors.

LeBron vs Kobe seems destined.  ::)

Hate to make excuses for him, but I'd say Pierce's confidence and shooting touch might've been a little better had he gotten a few freebies at the line to get the stroke going.

I mean, 2 FT's for Pierce? He was taking it to the rim a lot I felt.

It's hard to keep attacking or to keep a rhythm going when people have to sit due to personal fouls.

This game was terribly officiated.

The rest of the team was 16-30 from the floor for 48 points but that is mainly Rondo.

The team was only 9-20 from the field for 21 points otherwise.
