Pierce simply isn't getting the calls...or hitting the shots.

Five point game.  This sucks, big time.

PP can't buy a call, it is absurd.

and that is offensive interference!

Refs helped but Pierce's cold hand probably lost this game.

Nothing falling since abut the 8 minute mark. Leg? Anyway, looks grim.

frustrating.  even with the refs not giving calls the offense is horrible and they're giving up too many offensive rebounds.  If they controlled the boards like they did in the first half, Cle would still be trailing by a few points here.

you cannot win on the road against a great team when you play 5 on 8. this game was a travesty. we played sloppy at times, but the refs literally cost us the game.

Excellent decision by Mike Brown to put Jamario Moon on Rondo defensively there.

Do the normal NBA rules not apply to God's team? What is Pierce doing differently than LeBron when he's driving to the hoop and drawing contact?

Give the Cavs credit--they cut off RRs driving lanes and the C's offensive dried up like a prune. They had no answer for it.

Yeah, well....you CANNOT beat the Cavs and the REFS.....and we RELAXED and started walking the ball up the court when we got up 11....INSTEAD of continuing to ATTACK....Typical of this season....THIS game was OURS fellas....with a LOT of HELP from the REFS, we GIFT-WRAPPED this Game and quite possibly this series----you CANNOT give away games.

  • Thank you Eddie!
I hate the NBA.  This league is fixed.  But, I love the Celtics.  You CANNOT win a game on the road against the best team in the league 5 on 8.  They played their best in spite of being 5 on 8 all night.  But they can't win.  It's not in the script.

I think Moon (Rondo) + West (Ray) + LeBron (Pierce) + Hickson + Varejao is Cleveland's best defensive lineup.

Varejao and Hickson would be interchangeable defensively. Varejao should defend Garnett when you want strong man-to-man defense there or defend Perkins when you want more help defense around the rim.

That lineup would make Boston's life very difficult.
