This half sucks, but if somebody told me that we'd be tied with five minutes left, I would have taken it.

still a winnable game despite the 5 on 8.  those missed layups from the first half and blown charge on rondo would be really helpful right now.

we need to keep attacking. the 5 on 8 will kill us, but we have to keep doing what worked earlier. and some sportswriters have to start writing about this clear referee problem. even with the turnovers, we should be up by 8 or 10 right now.

Boston are looking good. Five minutes to play. Tie game. On the road. All good things ...

The C's stand a fair chance of winning this game. I'd have taken that at the start of the night.

C's still in this...Refs doing their best job to make it not so...we still got this one!

And then Perk comes through!

C's are tied despite the obvious Stern directive to make sure the Cavs win this game to the refs.

Stern must be fuming right now.

Next game's refs:

Dick Bavetta, Bennett Salvatore and out of retirement with a new four book deal from a new publisher, Tim Donaghy!!!!!

Go to Kg in the post, he can destroy Jamison every possesion, and we are settling for contested long 3's

Our decision-making in the second half has been bad.

Low energy for most of it.
Went away from what still works.
Gave it up on D (36 pts allowed in third quarter).

Still time to salvage but we have to be pretty close to perfect.

  • Thank you Eddie!
If we're up 3-2 heading into G6, expect every call in G6 and 7 to go the Lebron's way.  This game 1 is just a preview of that.  Never forget the 2002 WCF.

Stern would pull the press pass of any writer that pointed out the lopsided reffing.

Rondo got clocked -- should be something more than a regular foul on that

If that foul had been on a Lebron drive, they would have ejected the entire team.

We need this game.  Remember, we have home games to worry about.
