Guy is beyond incompetent and as long as he is a ref it reflects on Stu Jackson as being incompetent and it reflects on David Stern as being incompetent and it reflects on all refs as being incompetent.

It seems like everyone in the world knows he is terrible except for the people who can fire him.

I'm pretty sure the one where he pushed Damon Jones out of bounds and called Chauncey Billups for a foul on it was the worst lol.  In the close up it even looks like he is grabbing the ball on Jones lol. 

I hate this guy, he is a joke and should not ever be refereeing a game again.

 I would pick Crawford as the worst, but there are a few others who are cringe-worthy.

I think the young guys are the best. They seem less protective of the stars and call it more even.

Salvatore will do whatever it takes to extend a series.  Not really a bad ref I'm sure just completely and utterly lives inside David Stern's breast pocket.

Wow, that Nash foul was terrible - I suppose Camby might've hit Hill in a way that's technically, by the letter of the law, a foul.  But putting Nash on the line was just a flatout screwup.  At least Joey looked confident while he was saying it. 

On a related note, does it seem like the refs have been instructed to call things closer in the paint?  I've seen a lot of ticky-tack fouls on Dwight Howard, there were multiple horrible calls on the Bulls' big men late in the last game, plus this.  Seems pretty widely spread.

I have run out of words to describe Crawford's awfulness. No one's ego should be that large. He's basically an actor in a poorly acted spoof at this point.

Bennett Salvatore is HANDS DOWN the WORST ref in this league---to the point of being CROOKED.--Geeze, Remember that OFFENSIVE Foul he called on Pierce's 3 point attempt in the 08 ECF-?

Joey Crawford is 2nd Worst---cause he's just Horrible and thinks HE'S the Game--and thinks people pay to see HIM.

Bill Kennedy is Awful, but mostly cause he's a LUNKHEAD.

Dick Bavetta is a HOMER and senile.

Scott Foster isn't too bad---but he falls for EVERY FLOP.

Steve Javie is the BEST ref in the league--and he hasn't reffed a C's game in months---I think he's ill actually.

Violet Palmer is actually pretty good NOW---she sucked when she started.

Bob Delaney is pretty CRAP too.

There are like 75 Refs in the league...and we always end up with like the same 3 guys all the time.

Gotta disagree about Violet ... she's still horrible. So is Kenny Mauer, (one of the worst without question), Eddie F. Rush, Forte, Bavetta, (who used to be one of the best before decrepitude) ... I could go on and on, the whole organization needs an overhaul, unfortunately ... and some culpability.
