If anyone else is watching the Cavs Bulls game, this is the worst refereeing I've seen this year I think. The Bulls are absolutely getting hosed by the refs, even Reggie Miller and the other announcers are saying it's ridiculous.

Completely ridiculous. They're getting cheated through and through. I don't think I've seen something this ridiculous.

This is Reason #1 why I still think the Celtics are going to have a massively uphill climb in Round 2.

Yikes. Just turned the game on to see what's going on.

This is gonna be a problem for us. PP could foul out of games or spend long stretches on the bench with foul trouble.

If I'm Doc/Wyc/Danny, I'm calling the league office this week to make an advance case.

Yep. The officiating from tonight's game with the Heat was just a taste of what's to come.

We did it once. We'll do it again.

Lebron won't get those calls against the Celtics. The 2teams are evenly matched. The refs will be forced to be honest since there will be huge ratings. They wouldn't want Tim Donaghy references to surface.

Lebron James: 42 minutes so far, 1 foul.

Still Bulls within three.

Well, the Celtics didn't get the calls in Round 1, so I'm not predicting that that will change.  I just don't think the NBA cares very much what the public perception is (even if the public outside of Boston cared about Lebron being gifted a title.)

Yeah, I see us taking this to 7, but getting absolutely screwed over on the refs.  Stern will not be happy if Lebron doesn't make it out of the East this year.  If it becomes obvious he can't do it himself, Stern will give us Bavetta, Kennedy, and Salvatore until Lebron escapes.  It will be something like Kings-Lakers 2002 WCF G6, except expect to see that in more than one game.

If the refs try any crap in any games in Boston during this coming series, I hope the crowd busts out a "Don-a-ghy" chant.

TNT doing everything they can to show up the refs with yet another replay of that blown call on the Rose and one.

And can someone tell me when the NBA started allowing instant replay review of 24 second shot clock violations that then over ruled the following foul that was actually incorrectly called.

There was no clock malfunction or end of quarter or 3 pointer taken there. So why the review?

Given Stern's recent stance regarding suspensions of people criticizing his referees, do you really think he cares what the public perception is anymore?

I don't. I think he would easily put a fix in to get Lebron v. Kobe in the Finals in 7 games even if it meant being so blatant that he would have to undergo government scrutiny into the situation. I just think the amount of money and exposure that type of series would give him and his league would far outweigh being accused of fixing games.

Yeah and we'll be next  >:( Everyone gets hosed by the refs but not them it seems. The odds are always in their favor when there's an egregious call. I'm actually relieved I can't watch most of the May games live because my BP won't be able to take it. Didn't recover from the trauma of the last series we had with them till halfway through the ECF.
