Not to discount Cleveland's status as one of the best team's in the game, but I think they are Miami on steroids.  True, Miami has no miniature Shaq, but the meat of Cleveland's attack is Lebron and his 3-point shooting sidekicks, with a better-than-Haslem hustling big in Varejo.  Jamison and Beasley aren't exactly 2 peas in a pod but neither seem able to provide a credible 2 to Lebron's 1.   PG play is comparable.

I think Shaq/Z provides a little something Miami doesn't have, but I actually like Kendrick on Shaq.  After watching Wade for 5 games, I am not any more scared of Lebron than I am of Dwyane (well, maybe a little).

Don't get me wrong, Cleveland is a much better team than Miami, but bottom line is that Lebron, like Wade, has to trust his teammates and trusting them is a little bit dangerous. We'll see another one man show as needed in the next series. And I hope it's needed because, like Wade, Lebron can win games on his own, but not a series -- against the Celtics.

In a nutshell, everything about Cleveland is better, from the superstar to the last role player. The next series is going to be epic.

I see the comparison, but Lebron's supporting cast -- even if they're similar players -- are significantly more talented and more consistent.  If you give QRich and Beasley open jumpers, they'll brick them as much as they hit them.  With Mo Williams and Jamison (among others), they're going to make the Celts pay a lot more.

I still like our chances, but as you said, Cleveland is much better than Miami.

Expect the refs helping Cavs as much as they can. Stern will be very disappointed if Lebron fails once again.

Well, that's at least one thing that will be similar between Cleveland and Miami. ;)

Better.  But the dynamics are similar.  It's not like going from a slow down muscle team to a young athletic team.  Cleveland is a much better version of Miami (ish).   Doesn't mean we win -- but could mean a great series.

Lebron is no way better than Wade. He can't play any better than Wade did. Is he going to avg 40 against he Celtics? No. However, he does have a vastly better supporting cast.

You really think Lebron is no better than Wade?

Lebron hurt his arm in the fourth quarter. Wonder if it's anything lingering...

Answer, No. Wade as good as Lebron.

All I know is, he can't possibly play any better than Wade had. Wade put up ridiculous numbers against us. He can match it. I doubt he can surpass it.

Lebron doesn't have to put up the gaudy numbers.  He's got a supporting cast, unlike Wade.  Lebron could very well average much points less but play near triple-double level.

Lebron DOES average a near triple-double while putting up huge numbers.

And Lebron's a better defender at a more important defensive position.
