marc fein of nba tv has 0 basketball intelligence...let me repeat...0 basketball intelligence...tommy is not a homer...he is usually on the money...celtics have 0 free throws with 3:00 left in the 1st half with all the bailout calls the heat got all game...then he has the gall to repeatedly call tommy a homer and then sarcastically repeat that tommy is #7 all time scorer in celtics playoff history...marc fein...i say to you...you could not, can not and never will be able to carry tommy's jockstrap...tommy is a hall of fame player...hall of fame coach...hall of fame announcer...you will never be a hall of fame at anything...marc fein...you are a disgrace...

I don't think much of that NBA TV studio guy but when you say Tommy is not a homer, you have taken your credibility, crushed it into ashes and scattered it to the winds.

He's a homer, but 85% of the calls he was complaining about tonight were suspect.  Tommy had a right to rant a little.

marc fein's credibility is the one that should be spread as ashes...the facts are the facts...watch the game...celtics shot their 1st free throw with 3:00 in the 1st half...the facts speak for themselves...and as sheed always says...ball don't lie...there is no excuse for these referees...it's so obvious they are babysitting dwade and babysitting the nba...watch the game...the facts speak for themselves...1st free throw with 3 minutes in the 1st half...that is not being a homer...that is watching the game with your eyes open...nuff said...

Totally agree with you Roy - for tonight. But he's become the Boy Who Cried Wolf for good reason. The conclusion is drawn long before any evidence is submitted.

Everybody please avoid personal attacks, mockery, etc.  There's no need for any in-fighting.

I don't think you're directing your comment at me but I wrote the ashes to the wind thing and I stand by that. I don't think it's uncivil as debate goes and I doubt anyone would disagree with the idea Tommy's a homer, save one.

I hear what you're saying. And I do agree.

But not every opinion is either informed or deserving of equal consideration. Some, as we all know, are ridiculous at first blush. And there's nothing wrong with saying so. IMO.
