Sheed should be cut after Banner 18.
I would rather see Sheldon play.

He reminds me of a poor man's Leon Powe.
Leon never shot a 3, (not sure on that) and fought on the inside on offense and defense. = Williams

I'd give Williams a try in this series.  I think Wallace will be big against Cleveland though.... if we make beat Miami.

Shelden Williams is a huge bust, of O'Bryant proportions. The kid sucks and he shouldn't be playing.

Leon was never 35% from 3-pt land in his career like Sheed was. Obviously Sheed should've retired, but stop. Really. Sheed's not even getting consistent minutes in the playoffs. What's the point?

When the playoffs start, Rasheed is going to be really good.

Think you meant Sheed.

Sheed's size as a post defender should make him an asset against the Cavs w/Shaq and Orlando w/Howard when Perk inevitably gets in foul trouble.

Today, his apparent inability to lift his arms above his waist to contest jumpers off of screens as a help defender was shameful in a playoff elimination game.

Today, his size advantage did not translate into a basketball advantage, such as on the glass or in the post.

Today, and against Miami, Shelden just might have an edge over Sheed.

Oddly enough, Sheed was signed as KG insurance, but can only back up the 5, and then only against slower moving post players.  Still, that might be critical if we can get past Miami...

I wanna know where the Sheed apologists are today. Another playoff game another Rasheed Wallace no show. Ya he didn't play many mins but when he was in the game his defense was deplorable. Like another poster said he didn't even bother putting his hands up on a Wade three. And reached and fouled as usual... What other excuses are we gonna hear for this guy??? I'm expecting some good ones now guys. Don't let me down lol

If he didn't suck then he'd get minutes. He's so bad that even Doc can see it.

I think against miami we need rebounding and speed, so sheed is out.  I really believe he's played himself out of boston but would like to think he can do well in SOME series in the playoffs.  I believe he was signed to a 3 yr deal?  He isn't worth it this year and I'd assume he is only going to get worse.  I really like sheldon as 4th big on a team. kg, perk, insert other (davis etc) then sheldon.
Let's see what danny can do to move him, draft pick? he (sheed) to me has less value than tony allen now!

Really guys? No exotic Sheed apologies today?? Surprising to say the least... Just the other day I ( as well as moiso I beleive ) were getting ripped fir calling this waste of space out. Where are the Rasheed look aid drinkers today?

Im with you celtichooligan.  That makes 86 games and counting some people have been waiting for that imaginary switch to get flipped.

Look, some of the posts here border on Baiting. I'll end it right there.

I did not see the entire game, but from the end of the 3rd until the end of the game, Sheed did not look bad. I cannot count for the remainder of the game.

My thing is this: I cannot defend poor effort from anyone, but from what I saw Sheed did not lose this game.

From the end of the 3rd until end of the game, Rondo missed a layup, Pierce had a turnover or two, Ray missed a few freethrows. Not Sheed.

I'll admit..Sheed's contributions this series have been minimal, but in this game he alone did not lose it.

Could Shelden have made a bigger impact? Maybe. But that's on Doc. Not Sheed.
