Btw, I was about to write a topic but never got down to finishing it;

Boston @ Miami, game 3; statement game?

Is there anyone else who feels the same about the upcoming game?

There's this really weird feeling in my underbelly -no, it's not puberty- and the Celtics are the cause. Their play during the regular season has been less than stellar, and talk of the magic 'switch' they were going to 'flip' has made us pray for the off-season well before it started. However, a lot of us were still skeptic about whether or not said switch existed.

After rushing into the season at a blistering pace, the Celtics cruised through most of it while seemingly being stuck in second gear. They stuttered when they reached the maximum rpm, and flat out refused to switch into third, or even fourth gear. Talk of switching the tires, getting a whole new engine block or even a new driver was-

and that's how far I got :p

It feels like a statement game to me. As though we get to prove here that we actually can (and did) flip the switch.

Also commented, "late arriving crown". For the sake of the Heat players, I hope so. If not those are some sucky fans. D-wade really is a true man if he isn't bailing on that.

I love how the C's are playing!
"The emblem of a warrior, it's the swagger of an athlete, a champion and dynasty, it's gifted, golden, genuine and glorious. It is a lower-case god. It's the goat. The greatest of all time. What's G? It is the heart, hustle and soul of the game."

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Looks like the Heat aren't breaking any play-off attendance records tonight.

Perk looks to be having another bad knee night. Looks like he's in quicksand on some defensive possessions.

KG should be more aggressive around the basket. He had 2 chances to dunk it but insted came with 2 misses.

Ray had 3 huge plays in a row! The corner 3, the good outlet pass, the steal and the freebies (although he missed one).

Right now it's Dwyane Wade vs Celtics and we're barely leading, but Wade can keep his one man show alive for long stretches so we have to defend him better.
