I have hated LeQueen since 2008,  really.... I took alot of heat from Old Time Celts fans  saying I should hate the Lakers without question more than the Cavs.  But to be honest, yes I hate Kobe and Pau,  but they havent given me anything to hate them for,  no material, its just a blind rivalry for my generation.  Do I want them to win? Heck no  because it brings them closer,   but I can honestly say that I hate Lebron, and Cleveland more than anyone or anywhere in the NBA. I cant see those colors,  their logo, or anything  without instantly becoming enraged. My dislike for them surpasses that of the Yankees.  Why?

1. The Mock photos, and dancing last year....really that was trashy
2. The temper tantrums that Lequeen throws that ESPN overlooks routinely (Water bottle kick, refusal of handshake, cleveland refusing to be in the stadium when the Celts rec'd their rings, ect.)

3. The belief that Mike Brown is a good coach....   really   his gameplan is give it to Lebron
How he won Coach of the year last year is beyond me.

4. Andy Sideshow bob Varajeo   ...need I say more than that punch that Ray landed to his groin and Anderson walked around like Frankenstein after him, hands in the air stiff legged
5. Any team that has 98 1/2 Alternate jerseys  deserves to be slapped and hated
6. The worshipping of Lebron through ESPN, ABC, TNT , NBC, MTV, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Food Network,  Animal Planet, Speed Channel, USA, and Lifetime
7. The dramatics of the powder throw
8. Changing your number out of "respect" for Michael Jordan  but changing it to the number of the man who was better than Jordan, and just so happens to be on the team you hate...hmm
9. "win a ring for the king"
10. The nickname "The King"  kings usually are supposed to have some kind of decoration...earned their way to the throne some how... this king has nothing other than an olympic gold,  Dwade has a Championship and Olympic gold...why isnt he the king?
11. Did I mention the handshake fiasco?
12. The whole "I'll be in the dunk contest"  "Nevermind"  "wait maybe I will"  "No, I'll do it NEXT year now"

13. Cleveland fans throwing all their eggs in the one basket  for a sport that they know nothing about, well Cleveland fans know nothing of ANY sport
14. I'm with Noah,  what IS there to do in Cleveland
and
15. I just hate LeQueen

Go Bulls! (Just for this round)

^Hmm, could this be why you hate the Cavs more than the Yankees?

(That is a picture of LeBron rooting for the Yankees while they play the Cleveland Indians, in Cleveland.Needless to say the home fans felt betrayed by LeBron blatantly selling out)

LOL @ #6 ;D. Don't forget Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon.

Lebron is Truly Talented..once in a Lifetime Talent. But:

I can certainly understand the Angst on the Blog here. I suppose the point is that He Hasn't won Anything yet..no ring..not even close (if you count the Spurs Sweep of CLE back in 2007 as close, then that's funny).

Michael and Larry did not get this same treatment prior to them winning a ring. Neither did Magic. And back then, I think the NBA was more popular.

I say this without looking back: The attention on Lebron is too much. He needs to win One Ring, First.

Pierce has one, as well as KG, Rondo, Ray, Perk...get a Ring, Lebron.

Then we can start the Muppet Shows.

I like LeBron.  He's the best player in the NBA.  I'm rooting for the Cavs once the Celtics get eliminated.  They are the only chance we have of Kobe losing.  The Cavs winning solves a couple things... #1 - LeBron is rightfully considered the greatest player in the NBA and will be well on his legacy of dominance... and #2 - Shaq gets another ring to rub in Kobe's face.

Pretty much anything that craps on Kobe and the Lakers... i'm all for.

Go Cavs

This is closest to reflecting my views.

I don't hate the Cavs at all.  No visceral response to Lebron or the Cavs - heck, I don't even hate Shaq anymore (and boy did I hate him when he opted for the Lakers over the Magic).  Indifference to the Cavs.  But the Lakers...

I hate to admit it because it is so petty and useless to feel this way, but I think I hate the Lakers as much as I love the Celtics. There I said it.  It actually would scare me a little (have to admit it) for the C's to beat the Cavs since I see the Cavs as the best shot to beat the Lakers.  I will root like crazy for the C's and be ecstatic if they take out the Cavs, but if, in the end, it gets the Lakers another title, ughh... I can't bear it.
I kinda agree, though I would never turn down a trip to the finals.

I just wanted real reasons and all anyone can come up with is you don't get titles for regular season wins, your city sucks, Lebron is going to leave next year, the Cavs don' play defense (completely false), the Cavs don't play team basketball (also false).

Just be honest and say you hate the Cavs because Lebron is hyped too much by the media (which he can be sometimes),that they pose a very real threat to the Celtics and that the majority of that threat comes from one player alone.

I really can't stand the Cavs either, and sadly would rather see the Lakers win (tough to say).  It's not a matter of jealousy about Lebron either.  I can't stand the way the media has hyped him, the way the league and refs treat him, the unearned praise (when he hasn't won anything meaningful), and most particular the way he believes the world revolves around him.  How can you route for someone who has "CHOSEN" written across their back and acts like he is the greatest basketball player of all time, yet simultaneously whines to the refs at every corner?  Personally I enjoy a team game with high caliber players.  Not flopping, whining, or hubris that knows no limits.

Can't say I care as much as everyone else. Lebron's a great player to me, but he's definitely a whiner to me. That can't be argued. I mean, don't you remember that tantrum he threw in the last regular season game against the Celtics? That was just ridiculous. He needs to check himself, sometime.

The Cavs are flawed. All the contenders this year have weaknesses. They should all be worried.

None of them come close to the Shaq Lakers, the Duncan in his prime Spurs or never mind the Bulls before that.

Which flaws should have them worried?  Honestly.  Not trying to be a punk, actually just want to chat

No your pretty much being a punk on this board....acting as if anything negative said about the cavs is a reflection  or personal attack on you as if its YOUR team...   fact is BUD  your team has routinely racked up a ton of regular season wins   only to fall short each year  with whom your team  touts as the greatest thing since sliced bread (which was pretty good I must admit)     Your team is all smoke  no fire    if they handed out championships for regular season performances,   creative dances in pregame and in game,   and flashy  unsportsmanlike dunks during blowouts     then your team would be champions...but they dont, championships are earned from hardcore defense which isnt YOUR team's forte. So if you want a flaw,  there you go.  Now go back to ClevelandRocks. com   sing with Drew Carey in the streets  for his stupid show   and go watch the Indians  blow a few more games while wearing your stupid Dawgpound T-shirt.   Noah is right, your city sucks   nothing special has ever come out of Cleveland other than over obnoxious fans  that think they know the game of basketball because  they got lucky with a pingpong ball one year and got that tool.   I've always felt the Celtics have an advantage over the Cavs because the Celts play TEAM basketball,  no  one player is above the rest.  Cant say the same about Cleveland.  While that gets them wins in the regular season, its team basketball  that gets you to June. Remember that team mentality when your God ditches you all for New York this summer

Any time you want to stop throwing perosnal insults my way and talk basketball let me know.  I have played/watched the game my entire life.  Don't come to me and say that because the Cavs got Lebron, Cleveland fans think they know basketball.  Don't lump me in with the idiots who wear his jersey but can't tell you about the days at the Coliseum, or the way Mark Price and Brad Daugherty could work the inside out game.

Every fan base has knowledgable fans and morons. For every Cavs fan who blindy screams that the Cavs are the best ever, even though they haven't won a championship yet, there is an equally moronic Celtics fan who started watching them after they got their ping pong ball (Garnett, Allen and Rondo) and claims the Celtics are the best ever, without being able to tell me anything about DJ.

As for your point about hardcore defense.  The Cavs got beat on the pick and roll too often last night, which will be addressed on Thursday.  The Cavs started rotating defenders to the paint later in the game which really helped.  The Cavs like to bring their big out on Rose and double off of the pick.  Noah was killing them by cutting to the basket and getting the feed from Rose.  The Cavs started rotating 2 guys to the paint later in the game which opened up jump shots for the Bulls, but they aren't a great jump shooting team.  The Bulls had never scored more than 90 on the Cavs in a game until last night.  It will be interesting to see if they can put up that kind of offense again.

Well, this is just me talking, but if a guy grabs his crotch and curses me out during a game I am pretty much going to take offense to it and say something.

Now I don't think he needed to go into their huddle and start yapping.  He could have just walked away.  But we all know how you Boston fans feel about Lebron just walking away.   :)

If the Cavs shooters go cold around Lebron, the ball gets very sticky. Their offensive game plan late in games is often terrible. As good as Mike Brown is at defensive gameplanning, his teams have been equally as predictible and stagnant offensively. Great defensive teams can always stop an offense with no ball movement even if God himself was on the team.  Keep in mind I am talking about playoff basketball when halfcourt offensive execution becomes more important. This year you might be lucky because there are no great defensive teams lurking out there. Orlando and Bos have the ability to be great defensively but they are not there at this moment in the playoffs. Celveland's defense is always stellar but I have seent the Cavs get too comfortable and lax at times even in the playoffs.

They are a great team don't get me wrong but they definitely have flaws and I would not be shocked to see them fail to reach the finals even though I would not bet against it.

I missed the walking away reference, but I have to say, I didn't blame Lebron for going back at Tony Allen, who really had no place talking trash to a guy like Lebron.  On the other hand, Lebron had just made one of the most boneheaded plays I have seen (and Tony Allen knows boneheaded plays), and basically gave the game away.

I will also say that I really wish Lebron would lay off the theatrics a bit.  He really doesn't need them, and I don't think they come as naturally to him as a guy like KG (who I think is genuinely a bit unbalanced).  I would have a lot more respect for Lebron, if he did his talking with his game, rather than resorting to things that frankly, he doesn't need to do.

I hate the LeIso usually, and it has always been a product of the Cavs shooters going cold, or Mike Brown not knowing what else to do.  Nights when Lebron is on it works great (like last night) but it can also kill a team.  What was weird about last night is that Jamison was not on the floor.  He is their secoond best scoring option on the floor in the 4th and he was on the bench.  Jamison actually knows how to work off the ball, and will not just stand around and watch.  Could have been a recipe for disaster.

He did that against the C's?  I thought it was against the Magic last season?

Okay, you are right. I dislike the Cavs because Lebron is hyped too much by the media (though he is the best basketball player on the planet), because they pose a very real threat to the greatest franchise in basketball, and all of that threat comes from one player and three refs alone.
