Sheed. And then WHEN he stinks it up pull him after the first 2 minutes and put Baby in. When Baby needs a rest put Sheldon in and then finally realize that Sheed is a cancer and put him at the end of the bench waving a towel.

i think sheed would start, but i think bbd would play a lot of minutes, especially if he is effective the way he was in the second half last night.  if bbd isnt effective, i think doc with start sheed and split minutes between bbd and sheldon.

using history and doc as an indicator....wallace will start should garnet not be in the game.

well, if so, let' s see if wallace has flipped that famous switch and comes out with passion, defense, and leads the team.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Last weekend they beat the Bucks in Milwauke without KG, and down the stretch used TA and went small. After the game Doc said the only time he doesnt mind matching the other team and going small is when they dont have KG, because he doesnt feel Baby or Sheed have the footspeed to defend quicker 4's.

Id consider Beasley a very quick 4, so while i think they start with Baby or Sheed, you will see a fair share of small ball. Something like Rondo/TA/Ray/PP/Perk, that way you have TA on Wade which saves Ray energy, and you make and Q-Rich and Beasley have to chase around Ray and Pierce which will wear them down. Plus, i dont think Pierce would have much trouble defending Beasley, who is only 6'7 or maybe 6'8.

sheed has the low post game which will help the inside out for jump shooters and driving lanes for rondo pierce and to a point ray
I wouldn't hesitate to sit him if he doesn't do his job.
Sidenote: I would try daniels at pf against beasley but only him, i think that lineup
daniels, pierce, ray (or tony) perk and rondo could look good
beasley is a pf/sf tweener and i think is too quick for our pf
-then again he might not be able to handle 'sheed on the low post

I think we should start Sheed.

In my opinion, it seems when Sheed starts, he does a lot better than if hes on the bench. Just my opinion. I think the playoffs is going to be where we judge Sheed for real.

Sheed have an excuse during the regular season, playoffs are here, no more excuse

Are we allowed to say we want Sheed and Baby to start after Perk's second half of the season?

Yeah, I don't think the pride hit is worth it though. But if Perkins plays like he did in game 1 his minutes will stay in the low 20s.

Move Paul to the 4, start Tony Allen.

I would love the Heat to give the ball to Beasley and out of Wade's hand.

Paul can take Beasley, he's not that much bigger than Paul. We'll have Perk helping with traps too, if Paul needs it.

TA is needed to check Wade. (Artest just shut down Durant in the Laker's Game 1 victory).

Start Davis.

By starting Davis it will allow Sheed to play our backup center role more.  If we start Sheed we will be very big to start the game however towards the end of the first/early second quarter both of them will most likely be out of the game and we will be very small with Davis as the center and I'm not crazy of that idea.   I like the idea of keeping Sheed as the backup that way you are assured of either Perk or Sheed in the game at all times at C.  Davis is quicker than Sheed and can stay with Beasily a little better.   Davis also played very well in the playoffs last year and I think is playing better than Sheed now.  I like his energy to start the game.

Also I'd like to stay away from starting TA just because I'm afraid of getting him in foul trouble early.  We will need his defense in the second half on Wade especially.

Going small with Paul at the 4 is not a bad idea especially if we press a little. I'm curious if Doc will open up the vault and play Nate or Daniels if we go extended periods of time.   If we don't I don't mind Williams getting some backup minutes.   I think he would be just fine against Haslem.

i know daniels was hurt in the middle of the year and that may explain a lot, but i'm so dissapointed with what he has contributed this year. he really isn't good...and honestly, does anyone really want sheed getting a lot of minutes? lets get that dukie some minutes for once

I think DOC should think outside the box and start Marquis Daniels to play him on Beasley. This gives the C's a quick lineup to create Turnovers and fast break opportunities.

Rondo is going to be the key to our team in this series no matter who gets KG's minutes.
The beatings will continue until morale improves
