glad to see that Sheed was nowhere to be found in the 4th qtr

Yep.

This is ridiculous--it was a big win, there's no need to scapegoat the guy for anything. Sheed actually played very well. Miami went small and BBD went off, that was the only reason.
Agreed -- Sheed wasn't a problem tonight.  He played with some effort.

Ray, Perk and 1st half BBD were the downsides of the game

that's my point. Sheed only played 14 min and BBD played 24. Sheed should have been benched along time ago, his minutes need to go elsewhere,  I think he should be playing even less, 10 min a game for that bum---BBD showed the guts & heart it takes to win along with TA, sheed cant be a problem if he plays limited minutes
Sheed played ok in his minutes.  I think BBD played better in the 2nd half and was the better choice in the 2nd half but I don't necessarily think that Sheed would have hurt this team had he played more.

Doc Rivers should have the brains and guts to Start TA and bring Ray off the bench to spark the 2nd unit......but it won't happen   ???
It's not happen because it's not going to work.

And there is a reason why you start your best players and try to get them involved early. If you can get any of them to their best possible start early in the game, who would you rather have? Ray Allen or Tony Allen?

IF KG is suspeneded...start rondo, ray, PP, tony and Perk....

rondo plays arroyo
Tony plays wade
PP plays beasley
perk plays o neal
ray plays richardson

that is a good line up for boston..

Dunno about Sheed, he's still slapping at the ball as it goes through and not moving his feet, 1 rebound in 13 min. But at least he didnt force a ton of 3s. Perk definitely earned some pine.
definitely on the money about Perk.  Don't know what was up with him tonight but his effort was lousy.  He was absolutely a disaster on offense.  Should have been relegated to the 5th option on the floor much quicker

BBD answered the negativity earlier in the game (they were correct about his play early, but he doesn't suck).  TA was a star.  KG played very well and Paul picked it up in the third.  I love that the D shut them down after going don 14.  TA played Wade very well.  Tonight we had a sick Rondo and a cold Ray -- and came away with the victory.

I am very relieved!! Great win.

What to say...?

Richardson, I know KG's crazy, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he wouldn't have went off on you if you were merely asking if Pierce was ok. On that note, good to see Pierce apparently IS ok, since he finished the game.

I'm holding out hope KG won't be suspended, but I dunno. I just don't.

TA's showing why Doc had trust in him. Getting it done on offense and making it hard for Wade to breathe on defense. Good for TA. Please tell me he got the Tommy Point award.

Rondo was actually 3 rebounds away from a triple-double. Me likey for someone who had the flu just yesterday.

If Sheed's expected to stay in the post, he needs the ball more often. We can use a couple more And 1's by him.

I'll give Ray the benefit of the doubt that he isn't missing wide open 3's in Game 2. I mean, even Sheed can do that....and good for Doc on sitting Ray down for being cold.

People weren't in love with Nate and Marquis being out of the playoff rotation, but it's hard to argue with only allowing 76 points in 4 quarters, and only 10 in the 4th.

i never saw the supposed "vicious elbow" by KG.

all i saw was him standing over his teammate who was hurt and laying on the floor. the miami player is the one that came into the situation and started the shoving.

all KG did was put out his forearms to protect his and Pierce's space. total crap !!

btw ......... seeing as Pierce was hit hard enough on his dribble to cause an injury that sent him to the floor - isn't that a foul of some type - i dunno, just asking ??

lol, you've been watching this team all year??  sheed's been killing them since day 1. The more he plays the more liberties he takes-- the bad 3's while shooting 29%, his lazy D, even tonight, 1 reb in 14 min, he's 1 of the worst celtics ive seen ever-  i like DOc's rotation tonight for once as long as sheed is an afterthought

Sheed didn't take a 3 tonight, and he only played 12 minutes tonight, anyways. Clearly Doc is only willing to give Sheed minutes that he's earned now that the playoffs are starting.
