Love seeing LA struggle...getting roughed up, some.

The Hollywood Bully is being Bullied ;D.

But leave some for us, OKC! I'm holding out hope we'll be playing LA in June!

I don't care who we face in the Finals if we get there, I just want us to be there, but if it's the Lakers, I'll definitely take it.

That is so true..we must get there, first.

I'll take Banner 18 against whoever, but I know I had a somewhat empty feeling when Boston beat Ralph Sampson and Hakeem for Banner 16 back in the day.

LA let Ralph throw up that lucky shot that beat them at the buzzer in the Western Finals that year. I was bummed.

James Harden has been big for OKC these last two games. He's been panned since he was taken #3 in front of Evans, Curry, Jennings etc.

But he's solid. He's just not had the playing time or touches that the others have had. He's gonna be pretty good.

Westbrook + Thabo + Durant = best rebounding perimeter combination in the NBA

That is why Oklahoma are a quality rebounding team.

If they can sign a real solid 4 this offseason (Boozer or Lee come to mind) and groom Ibaka into a starting 5, I think they can be the best rebounding team in the league and a perennial contender.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Jimmy Butler
PF: Pau Gasol
C: Yao Ming

Imagine if the Thunder took Evans and had him playing at the two.  Westbrook would have to be more of a passing point, and Evans and Durant would have to be willing to cut down on their scoring for each other and their other players, but still imagine how good they would be if they had Evans.

I'll take anyone in the Finals as long as the C's are there and never be bummed about who we face.

Wouldn't work. He's a ballhog. Jennings and Curry maybe, but those two cant play SG and Westbrook is coming into his own as a PG now.

I've been leaning toward OKC being my favorite non-Celtic team ... if they beat the Fakers in the first round, that would seal it. Great, young team ... watch out for these guys for the next ten years or so. ;)

  • GOT IT!!!
Thank god I didn't grow up a Laker fan. I couldn't stand watching such a pompous team every night. They sleepwalk and think they are better than they really are.

What's funny is the majority of Laker fans are surprised by the Lakers performance in this series. I guess most them haven't watched their "team" enough this season.

Thunder are good, this is no surprise.

I root for the Thunder considering I live here but I bleed green and white no question.

I remember going to a URI basketball game last year in 08-09 with my rams facing VCU and Eric Maynor and the place was empty and I couldn't believe it.

A future NBA first round pick in the building and the place was empty.  Well that happened again this year to in the NIT when we faced Nevada and Luke Babbitt, with Danny Ainge in attendance  ;D!  Guess that just speaks about the fans for my URI Rams.
