sick 3 by Butler

I just lifted my head up and thought Nash was playing for the Mavs again.  Barrea has the same body and moves.
Yup

Roger Mason Jr is defending Caron Butler. Just awful.

Will Popovich please for the love of all that is holy stop putting Roger Mason on talented scoring wing players? He is a poor defender and gets abused over and over again.

Tony Parker in the pick and roll against Barea + Dirk (picker) is a money play for San Antonio.

Time running out for the Spurs here. They need a stop. Sigh and give up an offensive rebound instead. Looks like it could be a long series for Spurs fans.

This San Antonio/Dallas series will go the distance.

Portland surprised me coming out strong, I don't think they'll be able to sustain it though. And just as I'm typing this post two quick threes get the Suns within 3....

Really wish they'd edit that clip with Harlan yelling "Woody Allen does it again" for Ray's buzzer beater.

Very impressed with how the Suns bounced back this season to make it to 3rd seed. Nash and Hill have been great. Nash especially with that bad back. I really wish we could lure the Suns training staff to Boston.

Wow. I have no words for this fugly tie Sager is burning my corneas with. Somehow he always manages to lower the bar even further when it's playoff time.

It looks like Andre Miller is going to have a big series. He is going to have free reign with the ball in his hands in an open court game. Miller is going to create a lot of damage.

Impressive first half from the Blazers. I wasn't expecting much from them in this series without Roy, Oden and Przybilla but it looks like they can give Phoenix a serious test.

Andre Miller and LaMarcus Aldridge have negated most of Nash's and Amare's contributions. Marcus Camby has dominated the other big man spot. The starting wing players are fairly even and so too are the backup wings. An interesting matchup in the backup guard spots with free scorers Bayless + Barbosa and Dragic's all-round play. Phoenix has a good advantage on the backup big men slots.

Portland is only 6/7 deep though so their bench is going to be vulnerable in this series. Phoenix's bench has played well this season and should have a good advantage here.

Only going 7 deep is going to hurt them as the series goes on.

Portland needs to steal a game in these first two.

They might just steal a game. I haven't really been watching and didn't know Roy wasn't playing. What happened to him? And Camby just came up with a huge block. Good stuff from the Blazers.

Why advertise for an episode of a TV show (Leverage) that is two full months away from airing?

Seriously, why on earth would you do that? Do we really need two months advance warning? Who is going to schedule planner and marking down 9pm on June 20th, watch Leverage?

Every year, two months to airing, and constant ads throughout the NBA games ... bloody irritating.

Roy has a torn meniscus. He is finished for the year.

Bayless, Miller, and Camby have been fantastic.

I'm shocked I thought Phoenix would have the easiest time of all the top seeds.
