The Thunder desperately need a #2 or #3 scorer.

And they better not think Jeff Green is that player.

It's gotta be Westbrook, he has a huge quickness advantage over Fisher.  He started stepping up late in the 1st half, he'll need to keep it up all series.  Maynor can play a similar, smaller role off the bench but he'll have a lot more trouble with Shannon Brown, and he's not nearly as good as Westbrook.

Green needs to score a good bit too.  But it looks like this team is a year away from really being able to challenge the Lakers for 7 games.

Four hoops + three assists in transition for Westbrook now.

14 transition points created by Westbrook

Kobe Bryant routinely abuses rookies like James Harden.

Kobe has been quiet enough (14 shots + 7 FTs for 15 points). Keep Sefolosha in the game and keep Kobe quiet.

I was speaking more long-term.  Westbrook will be best served if he isn't depended on to score in the half-court, much like Rondo.

I have yet to see Durant step up in big moments.  He doesn't seem ready at all.

He's focusing too much on scoring.  His team needs him just as much on defense and the boards.

Okur is officially out for the rest of the playoffs.

The Jazz are in serious trouble now.

Odom hitting 3's makes LA an elite offense.

Thunder still have a shot despite a pretty terrible game by Durant.  LA is really struggling to score against their D.  Should be a fun series.

Solid win but Oklahoma should take heart in how close they were late in the fourth despite very poor offensive performances from Durant and Green.

The Thunder are going to cause the Lakers a lot of problems once those two get in gear.

Yeah, you have to like OKC's chances if they can continue to play this kind of defense.

The Lakers are playing into their hands by having Kobe handle the ball so much.  Gasol/Bynum were far more difficult for the Thunder to handle.

Kobe's finger looks like it's gonna be a big, big issue for LA throughout the playoffs.  His outside touch is just not consistently there, and he can't quite finish as explosively around the rim as he used to.  Lakers seem much more vulnerable than last season.

Yes, it's Kobe's selfish play that is giving Oklahoma a chance.

If Kobe just put the team before himself, the Lakers would wipe the floor with Oklahoma.
