Bruins made me a fan today.

Yes that makes me a bandwagon fan but I can also name about 10-15 Bruins by name and position from the 1970 and 1972 Stanley Cup winners without looking it up. So I was probably a Bruins fan well before many of you were born. So  :P

Nick,

I hadn't paid much attention to the Bruins until the playoffs a couple of years ago.  I still don't pay much attention to the regular season (especially this year).  But I will say,  it's too bad you hopped on now instead of the last series because you missed some excellent hockey.  If you like the game even a little, last series was about as good as it gets.

I couldn't watch today, but I tuned in on the radio for a check in right after Savard scored the GW.  What an amazing story.

GO B's

GO C's!
Yup

Sturm is done for the playoffs, and more:

Quote
Sturm suffered a torn ACL and a torn MCL and will require surgery within 4-6 weeks. His expected recovery time is an estimated six months. Sturm also suffered an injury to his left knee last year and missed the majority of the 2008-2009 season.

This will put who, Scott Thornton into the lineup?  Hopefully he steps up big.

Sturm hasn't done much, if anything this post-season, but you never want to see someone get injured.

Montreal evens up the series with the Pens.

Halak is playing out of his mind these playoffs.

Yeah, it's an interesting dilemma.  Do the Bruins want to play the lesser team with the amazingly hot goalie, or the better all-around team that isn't firing on all cylinders (and who may be missing Jordan Stahl)?

I think I'm pulling for the Habs, due to home ice advantage.  Either way, I hope the Bruins' future opponent comes out of this round banged up.
