Very cool.  So, we get home ice next round, and to reach the Finals, the highest seed in our way is a #4.  That's awesome.

Yeah, but that number four is the defending Stanley Cup Champions.  Even though I believe we can beat them.

So, Bruins vs Penguins in the next round.

Bruins vs. Flyers, isn't it?  With re-seeding?
Yeah, forgot about that.

Capitals are losers. There's no other way to say it. You are the best regular season team by far, have 3:1 lead against the 8 seed and what you do? Of course lose the next 3 games, two of them at home. Credit to Halak who was amazing in the last 3 games (saved like 130 shots and conceded only 2 goals).

So, Bruins vs Penguins in the next round.
They are the Dallas Mavericks of the NHL. (although they didn't get screwed in a fixed Stanley Cup Finals like the Mavs did, yet)

They are not playing as well as last season, but with players like Crosby and Malkin, will be very difficult.

Yeah, Pittsburgh can't be underestimated, but they're also beatable.  Of course, we have to get by the Flyers, first.  They've been playing great recently, but I like our chances.  (For the record, I loved our chances against Carolina last season, too.)

I can't believe how inept the Habs looked and they still won!!! Just goes to show how far you can go with a hot goaltender because the talent difference between the skaters on these two teams was shocking.

Bruce Boudreau should be fired. After last season when both their series got to game 7, and especially after this disgrace with so much talent available, he has to go.

I must say I am rather p---ed at the NHL.  They scheduled the B's on the same schedule as the C's. 2 of the first 4 games for the B's will be on at the same time as the C's (Mon/Fri).  This happened last year too.  Do these leagues have something against Boston fans or what?

Gotta get a DVR like I did last weekend just for this situation... THANK GOD!  Still sucks though, because I much rather not have to tape any of the games and have to watch them the next day and keep myself from not seeing a score or anything about the Bruins.

Can't ask for things to break much better if you're a Bruins fan.

Home ice advantage against the Flyers and let the Pens deal with the hot goalie in the other series?  Yeah, I'll take that.

Okay so the 4,6,7, and 8 seeds just advanced to the 2nd round. I am officially saying the Bruins will make the Stanley cup finals just based on the fact that this is too wacky.
