I will be frustrated with Doc and Danny if KG, Pierce, Allen see the floor tonight.

Just dumb to play them, no way to spin it otherwise.

Firing the Bucks up just wouldn't scare me. It is reminiscent of when I used to rile up my little brother. Much scarier is the thought that we played all of the starters and still lost to them while Miami tanked their game. I'd much rather see anger than confidence, if that makes sense.

Rest the starters tonight and hope for the Bucks whose current roster isn't even playoff worthy.

Plus, I'd feel better about The Heat advancing over the Hawks for a potential ECF*.

*I understand one of the two would still need to eliminate Orlando in the 2nd round.

One could say that they've been tanking for a while now.....just not purposely.

NO!!!!!

Step on a possible playoff opponents throat tonight.

That doesn't make sense.

Why not?

If the lay down, they might end up playing the Bucks who will be upset that the Celtics wanted to play them.  (Think Dallas and GS a few years ago)

I don't think Milwaukee has the fire power to be Golden State-like.

The Celtics' seeding is locked. Rest the regulars.

Agreed, and the Warriors had the Mavs number all year. The Mavs didn't play their starters because they had nothing to play for they had the top seed locked up. The Warriors weren't fired up they just knew what to do. Don Nelson knew Dirk's strengths and weaknesses. The Warriors were just prepared.

i prefer playing the bucks. so sit everyone. and it seems the Cs have been tanking all year at home...why should tonight be any different? just get me to the playoffs...i think both teams boston might play would be a Cs win in 5 or 6...so it doesnt matter.

start:

nate

daniels

finley

baby

sheed

play scal, sheldon and the popcorn vendor off the bench

without a doubt i wouldn't play ANYONE who has a lingering injury, i'd sit rondo for the heck of it and limit ray & pp to 20 minutes at most
my starting lineup if i'm correct on injuries
sheldon c
davis pf
pierce sf
ray sg
nate pg

The way the Celts played the last 3/4 of the season I don't it matters if we tank or not.

Amen. My comment was going to be:

"How would we know whether they were or weren't?!"
