I don't care that they don't care about the regular season games. I don't care that many of you and they think these games are meaningless. That effort tonight was inexcusable. Once again, KG looks like he is 75 years old -- he absolutely cannot guard any quick big forwards in this league -- and Pierce looked about 60. Honestly, the Celtics ought to offer a refund or gift certificate or something to every fan that had to sit there tonight and see this team get humiliated by a bunch of mostly no-name scrubs.

There is NO PRIDE in Boston anymore.

Well, the only thing that's left right now is the belief that they can just flip a switch and start playing with some degree of interest.

I frankly consider that belief nonsense. Hope I'm wrong. Certainly don't think I am.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

I've always been a hopeful fan here, but now feel a huge wave of despair about this team. What on earth caused this total and complete shut-down? The whole team was terrible tonight. No one could get a ball in, with the exception of Sheed, Quis and Nate. Two of these players are not even supposedly in the playoff rotation. I am so bewildered. And sad.

Thats how I feel as well! I was a very hopeful fan going into the postseason. But good Lord they really looked horrible tonight. I truly feel tonight was the worst game they have played this year. And BBD really played horrible. Idk just very disappointing in this team and it makes me feel not very hopeful for the playoffs. We shall see I guess.

Why single out BBD? He's a bench players and looked as good/bad as our starter KG tonight.

The NYK game the other night was the first game all season (in which i actually watched the game) that i felt like the team just totally did not care about winning or losing. I wasn't able to see the game tonight, but i'm assuming it to be the case for tonight as well. Is this team so afraid of injury that they're no longer willing to play hard?

I'm sorry for us fans who have to put up with this non-sense. I was spared the embarrassment by being asked to work late tonight to help out an airline customer get his plane back in service. The team is woefully unprepared for the playoffs and for this I pin the blame squarely on Doc Rivers for failure to motivate this team or put some emphasis on the regular season.

I am embarrassed to wear the Celtics jacket and I may not bother to watch the 1st round of the playoffs and concentrate on other persuits.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

The Garden's gonna be ugly if they mail it in the playoffs the way they have so often at home in the regular season,

It wouldn't be mailing it in if they lost in the playoffs. It would be either loss of talent, loss of chemistry, or a coach not using his talent right. Not sure which, but I doubt we'll see something similar to this.

I sure hope not, but bad habits are hard to change cold turkey.

Perhaps you haven't heard about this magic "switch" they're going to flip.

I for one would throw a hissy fit  like a 5 year old  that didnt get his matchbox    if  they look like they did tonight  for the playoffs   this is getting to be pathetic

The part that erks me the most is  Garnett complaining about the Boos   and saying that the team isnt fair weather    hoping thats not a dig at the fans  ala Mike bibby

My pleasure watching us play has slowly eroded away all season. Individual performances I still enjoy but as a team not so much. At the point I'm basically watching to hear Mike and Tommy and to see which sneakers Ray and Rondo are wearing.

Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
