I'm really starting to think this team has chemistry problems or something.

I don't care how bored this team is, to continually put up these kinds of performances against bad teams isn't good one bit.

I'm starting to feel the same way.

Rondo's effort has been slightly encouraging.  This team is just an ugly mismatch of declining veterans who don't give a crap and younger role players who aren't good enough to pick up the slack (though Rondo's put in good auditions).

This is a home game right? Shouldn't the C's have been embarrassed enough by the Nets loss? A championship level team does not get blown out at home to a team like the Wiz.

Correct. Which is why CLE and LA have not been blown out at home by the Wiz.

We, of course, are nowhere near a championship level team.

Man, this is really disappointing, as optimistic as I am and hoping for a miracle comes playoff time, I don't see this team being able  to 'turn it on'  :'(
Anything is possible!!!

Rondo must get p---ed off playing with guys who are aging and slow and phone in it most nights. He makes some lazy moves on D, and some too-cute passes but he's always ready to run and gun.

Our other guys? Not so much.

Ginoble (whatever...) just got $39 for 3 years.  IF that's the $$ for Ray and/or Pierce if he opts out, forget it.

I've said it quite a few times on the board already - I'm so sick of Rondo getting out on the fastbreak and no one running with him. It's depressing.

I wonder what a Garnett + Dalembert combination would be like defensively. Is Dalembert athletic enough as a five to offset KG's declining athleticism at the four?

Would it be more effective than a Perk + Garnett combination?

I think so.  Although Sammy's motor has been questioned.
Yeah, I agree, I think it would be more effective than KG + Perk too.

Would it be more effective than Garnett + possible new power forward? Say KG + Ty Thomas? Yeah, probably. Better defensively and on the glass. Worse in transition and largely comparable offensively.

More athleticism on the wing might tip the balance the other way though.

Yup.

This is why we need to send PP and RA packing. And Perk to be honest. He's too slow and can return an asset.

This team doesn't deserve to not lose by double digits tonight.
