that get in your face mojo. they need to remember who they are. today was a nice step.

Buddy, no offense...but you are a classic case of extremes...weren't you calling for dismantling the team and start the rebuilding process when we were close to losing that lead? Have a little more faith, my friend.....don't let the ebbs and flows of a game form your opinion. Peace. :)

well if the Cs played with the fire KG showed at the end of the game...maybe they would be a little more consistent with their effort. they played well up until the 4th then they didn't bring it like they had all day. it wasn't until the end where KG was shooting FTS that i saw it again. my point is IF they play with that sense of not taking anything for an ENTIRE 48 minutes then maybe it would curb the frustrations we all felt when the lead went from 17 in the 4th to gonzo.

yeah...this team is maddening. they look awesome for 3 quarters against the NBA's finest only to disappear. i give them credit today for taking the game despite losing the lead late. but really it shouldn't come to that. they gotta be playing like fools with their hair on fire for 48 minutes.

I see your point....I didn't mean to call you out or offend you. You are entitled to your opinions....I'm just frustrated with the way some people try to bash the team at any given opportunity. Sorry if I came across as being rude. Here is a TP with my apology. :)

i have no problem with what you said. there is no doubt the 4th quarter woes frustrate me. i thought boston did some great things today...esp in the first 3 quarters. but the 4th quarter did bother me. i am glad they won. that in its self should be celebrated. they got behind late when the cavs were playing hard and battled for the win. that makes me happy.

You can't back down from anyone, even the best player in the league. Lebron, as usual, has trouble dealing when his dominance is questioned.

Yup...thats because the Queen has been fed with a golden spoon since day 1 of his NBA career....I hope more teams try to experiment with that approach and try to get under his skin.

I am a Celtics fan, but I also acknowledge that Lebron James is far and away the best player in the NBA. I guess I don't see the need to call him "the Queen," but different strokes for different folks.

Agreed. Kinda childish to do so, IMO.

I liked how in the last possession Tony pretended he was gonna play Lebron for a second, then just fiddled away as Lebron misses the 3 to lose the game.  It's like you are deflating Lebron's ego by not playing hard in his last possession, showing that really doesnt care about how great Lebron thinks he is.

the nickname "The Queen" isnt given to him as to say he's a woman. more as to say he acts like a drama queen or a girl the way he acts when he doesnt get his way (crying about "missed calls", crying about personal fouls he gets, crying when losing the game, not shaking hands/congratulating teams when losing a game/series, etc. you get the picture). i personally love the nickname seeing as how he donned himself as "The King"...

oh also i was quite confused as to how lebron or the cavs bench wasnt T'd up during this... i mean lebron in the celtics huddle getting into the faces of celtics players and coaches, and also the cavs whole bench on our side of the court instigating things. I was under the assumption that if an opposing player went into a teams huddle during a timeout that it was a tech. And I also thought that the bench coming onto the court during an incident/conflict was a tech as well... hmmm but then again the commish wouldnt be too happy if his prized possession was to be taken out of a game..

Oh, I'm not above childish comments or all sorts of really black humor. It takes an enormous amount to hurt my feelings :+)

I think I'm just reacting to the comical disregard some people (not necc. you) have for Lebron. The guy is unbelievable on the court. Just a marvelous basketball player.

i do lke what james said after the game:

James was asked where the bad blood all came from.

"It comes from a tough, seven-game series,'' James said, referring to the Celtics' outlasting the Cavs in the 2008 conference semifinals, with neither team losing at home. "It comes from them wanting to be really great, them winning a championship, us wanting to win a championship. It comes from us knowing that we have to go through them and them knowing that they have to go through us.

"[It comes from] the regular-season battles we have had between me and Paul. [It comes from] the competition and that's what's good about this game. I think the game has lost a little bit of that over the years, the talking, teams not liking each other. That's the same thing I figured out last year when I walked off the court in Orlando [after losing Game 6 and the conference finals to the Magic]. People were mad I didn't shake hands. Why should I be happy? I'm not happy. I'm disgusted that we lost. I move onto the next season. That's what this game has lost. It's lost what it had in the '80s and '90s, when teams just didn't like each other."

And that is where the Cavs and Celtics find themselves these days.

"I guess it comes from us beating them in Game 7," Rivers said, referencing the same series as James. "Both teams are talkers. Cleveland does a lot of stuff."

It would be super-fun (if heart stopping) series if we get to it.

Can't wait for the playoffs.

So thats why it bothers you when I call him "The Queen"?....but its totally okay for the man to call himself The King? And where did I mention that he isn't a good player?....I know he is good..pls. read Billz401's post about why some people call him "The Queen".

So, to sum it up once I don't care what you think...I'm going to use the term "The Queen" or "LeBronze Shames" when referring to the man.

Fine - I was trying to be graceful about it.

Its pretty obvious that you care since you're pretty quick to reply. Something tells me that it wouldn't bother you if I refer to the Lakers as "Fakers"....but "The Queen" does not sit with you very well....guess what, "The Queen" suits me just fine....debate/argue with me if I post something ridiculous about his game/skills/ability...but don't tell me how I need to refer to him. I'm sure there are kids around you that you can discipline and preach to.
