I think that KG fall could eventually be a good thing.. he took it, got the wind knocked out of him, got up, and is ok.  Now I think he'll continue to play more and more aggressive w/o fear.

The Spurs went with their starting swingmen against our bench and just attacked with whoever Finley was guarding.  Combine that with Nate's and Baby's inaccuracy and there are the bench's problems.

Cause Jefferson already had 2 fouls....Spurs got ALL of the calls in the 2nd quarter---How was that NOT a fould when KG went to dunk it?...Cause it was Ginobli.

It's a fair comparison. Both guys are really tough competitors and have a passion for winning. I think I read somewhere (maybe Hollinger) that Manu can duplicate or even better Bryant's stats if he played more minutes (maybe same as Kobe's) or as a starter.

Manu's pick and roll play makes him a much more dangerous playmaker than Kobe.  He's also a better transition player.  Kobe's much better as an iso scorer and a bit better as a defender.

Just noticed Kobe and Manu have almost exactly similar bodies, too: 6'6'' 205 lbs, very similarly built.  I'm not sure I agree that Kobe is a better defender than Manu - I think they're at least on par in that category.

I'd say Kobe's main edge is, like you said, that he is better at creating his own shot from outside on isolation plays and such.  He's maybe a bit more athletic (leaping ability etc).
