7 assist on 17 FGs. That's not Celtic basket normally but you have to take it to the rim on these guys and so far so good. very good first half of basketball overall. Can't complain as they are beating the best team in the league over the past 4-6 on the road.

It really looks like they are the team on the back to back and not us when you look at energy.

I think that's got a lot to do with our shots being flat, though.

I feel like the C's should be up by about 10 right now. Shots aren't falling which is what is keeping Dallas in the game.

That and the zebras!

That's a given playing against Dirk and his striped buddies.

dirk getting a whistle every time he touches the ball. just go at him on the offensive end in the 2nd half. he's a terrible defender who will just let you walk in.

I don't think Dallas gets a lot of calls. Heck, many say that the refs are the reason there is a banner hanging in the Miami rafters and not Dallas'. Tonight is a different story, though.

C's look like they are playing well enough to win (despite letting the lead drift away. Again.) Gotta get the shots to fall, though. And Sheed? Post up, ok?

That's kind of harsh criticism about a 6 point first quarter lead shrinking to 1 when you consider it is only the first quarter to the second quarter, they are beating a team that has lost exactly one time in the last month and that they are one the road.

I think they played very well but their shots weren't falling. Play the exact same way and the shots fall and they will win by double digits over a team that is 2 1/2 game better than them on the road.

Pretty impressive as far as I am concerned.

Really nice half.  Love the way they're working on D.  Blocking the passing lanes and grabbing the boards.  Ball movements been fine on the offensive end, they're just brickin' it a bit.

Happy with the effort.

GO C's
Yup

Box score says Dirk played 19 minutes in the first half. I don't remember him ever sitting down.

Wait, does the offensive 3-second clock really reset when you have the ball? How did I never know this?
