missing free throws is lame....i finally got mine to fall consistantly...got my form going.....and i don't get paid to do it........i do it..AFTER work, so how can nba guys miss sooo many,...?

you don't have distractions and the amount of adrenaline pumping through your body like these players do. i'm sure you don't have several thousands yelling around you.

i also don't do it for a living 24-7 or get paid millions with pro trainers and exp shooting coaches....
Hehehe, touche.

Run suicides then take them, then run suicides then take them, then do it over and over and see how quick the form disappears. Shooting fouls after work just standing there without running just isn't the same as playing and shooting them.

Case in point. Rondo hitting unreal three point shots in a game of horse but can't hit them at 30% during games. Different atmosphere, different effort and fatigue factor, etc.

When I coached, I had my kids run suicides, shoot 5 foul shots, run more suicides, shoot more foul shots. To a kid they all said it was the best way to practice the mental discipline you need to shoot shots in a game atmosphere.

Paul Pierce is not only getting to the rim, but either finishing or drawing fouls. I can't believe the refs are giving him the benefit of the doubt. :o

Im really happy with how we are playing overall. I loved that pass by Rondo to Pierce on the drive. However, I had to log in just to say big baby has a lower bball iq then tony allen.

Good first quarter.  I'm most especially pleased with the C's scoring 30 in the first quarter.

Ultimately I think this game will come down to the two benches, and I don't like the way the Celtics bench matches up with the Mavs.  Hopefully the starters get big minutes.

anyway, ( I do run them lift, do legs box, jump rope bench...then have a beer or 2) but it isn't about me here.......i would just like our players to make them pay for the foul

I'm actually really good at that tbh. I practiced an entire summer, 500 freebies a day, in sets of 5: for ever miss, I walked the court once. My percentage went up from 25 (yea, I know, I had only just started playing :p) to 75% :D

Been screwing up my shot technique last summer though, back to 50%. Still best on our team mefinks.

Again... I would call the service provider and start giving someone a piece of my mind. This seems pretty constant.

Don't get that call. When Dirk got the ball he swung his elbows and hit Rasheed without a call. Then Rasheed gives him a little body bump and the whistle blows.

We've seen a lot of 3 seconds defensive calls lately with the C's.  :-X
