Isn't this the guy who claimed he had never heard of, or wasn't influenced by the Postal Service?

This isn't bad stuff, but I always found that pretty laughable, since it is a complete rip off of the Postal Service (just watered down a bit).

Bingo, Chris. Postal Service is the original, real deal. By the way, you guys ought to check out new music from Broken Bells. Very cool stuff.

Owl City used to be good when he released Such Great Heights a few years ago...

Oh wait, the was the Postal Service and everything this moron does sounds exactly the same as the PS... Cant really seem to like this guy when his shtick has already been done, in pretty much the same way.

If you're looking for some really good music. Try, to name a few songs:

The Black Keys - Hurt Like Mine, All you ever wanted, Thickfreakness, Do the Rump

Pearl Jam - Do The Evolution, Just Breathe, Rearviewmirror, No Way

My Morning Jacket - One Big Holiday, Anything of the album "Z"

Other songs that have potential to change your life:

Interpol - "NYC"

The Decemberists - "Crane Wife 1"

Floggin' Molly - "Float"

Also for you rap fans out their check out Black Roc for some good beats and rhymes...

Owl City is not a band. It's some guy named Adam Young who calls himself Owl City...

It's not very good, but at least it's better than Ke$ha.

And Rick Astley.

that's very random in an awesome sort of way

Above, you can watch his new video "Vanilla Twilight" above, which appears to be a song about lost love that for some reason has a video depicting the first moments of the Rapture (the apocalyptic event, not the band). Lots of citizens gaze at the sky, including Shaquille O'Neal. Naturally.

now, is that what the video is trying to depict or is it a spaceship or something?
