Doesn't matter... Brady has made some bad throws during this stretch and got lucky with good defenders dropping balls that him straight on. He's not changing his play to preserve the streak. My guess is if Pats go to super bowl, he'll throw a pick at some point in time, but even a single pick 6 is not the end of the world.

The only thing that changes with this streak is the announcing of the game. I dont think any QB in the league would do anything different because of an interception streak. Make a read and throw. There isnt enough time in the NFL to do otherwise. Brady has gotten this streak by making good reads, having big leads, and making good throws (and getting lucky). If this continues, he might still get a pick and he knows this.

It isnt like baseball during a no hit bid when the pitcher has what feels like years in between pitches to think about the situation.

He is avoiding a bad play so he doesnt have to press or do anything out of the ordinary.

Patriots picks in first 3 rounds (now that 3 of them are set in stone):
#17 (from Oakland)
#?? (own pick)
#33 (from Carolina)
#??+32 (own pick)
#76 (from Minnesota)
#??+64 (own pick)

That's quite the haul.  I believe the Pats traded away some of the later round picks, so they are a bit short in the later phases of the draft.  Of course, we all know that BB will likely trade away some of the above picks for picks in future years and for picks later in the draft....

It will be very interesting to see what they do with those picks.  Particularly if they have a new CBA in place that has slotted salaries, I could see them waver a bit from the tendency to trade down, and possibly see them package some picks to move up if they see a true impact defensive lineman.

The only thing im thinking is do they take a shot on Marvin Austin from UNC?  Thats a guy that was a top 5 pick at a position of need before the NCAA viloations surfaced.  But I think he should be there at 17.

Teams that scare me:

AFC -
Steelers
Ravens

NFC -
Falcons
Packers

The way things are looking now, my guess is we'll face the Ravens in the 2nd round (they'll beat the Chiefs).  If we defeat them, I imagine we'll face the Steelers (they'll probably beat the Jets, who I have defeating the Colts).

If we can get to the Superbowl, we'd probably face the Falcons.  Maybe the Saints or the Eagles.
Doesn't the NFL re-seed after the 1st round? If so I think the Pats would get the Jets who clinched the 6th seed.

hm, interesting. id be down for jets vs pats in foxboro.  doesn't scare me.

FYI:

For anyone looking for a great Patriots knit hat, I just got one of these and it's awesome! You've probably seen it during games ... it's made by Reebok and it's the Official Sideline Hat for all the NFL teams.

It's an extended "flop" beanie, very high quality with emroidered team, Reebok, & NFL logos ... it has a stretch cuff and is fleece lined and very warm. Some teams are easier to find than others, and it took me a while to find a Patriots version that wasn't sold out.

(I finally got mine through Champs Online, and it was on sale with free shipping).

Really happy with the purchase ... and definitely worth the $14.99 price-tag.

Question for Pat's fans, for a guy like Wilfork whose position isnt judged by stats, what is the factor in him making the hall of fame.  Right now he is a 3 time pro bowler and 2 time second team all pro.  Does he need a couple first team all pro's to make the HOF?  The only issue is their really arent many Nose Tackles now with many teams in the 4-3, so that may be why he isnt getting the all pro consideration, I dunno.
