Wonderful that BJGE broke 1000 yards.
good to see Tate, Price and Edelman get some play.
hope the injury to Woodhead isn't too severe.
Sorry to see Oakland win.

If the Pats don't ante up and pay McCourty when the bill comes due then I'm done with Belichek.

That's 4-5 years away. I wouldn't start worrying about it now.

Teams that scare me:

AFC -
Steelers
Ravens

NFC -
Falcons
Packers

The way things are looking now, my guess is we'll face the Ravens in the 2nd round (they'll beat the Chiefs).  If we defeat them, I imagine we'll face the Steelers (they'll probably beat the Jets, who I have defeating the Colts).

If we can get to the Superbowl, we'd probably face the Falcons.  Maybe the Saints or the Eagles.
Doesn't the NFL re-seed after the 1st round? If so I think the Pats would get the Jets who clinched the 6th seed.

ya the NFL re-seeds, unlike the NBA. I gotta say the 2 Wildcard matchups seem pretty nice this year, atleast to me they do.

Wow:  the Pats had a *total* of 10 turnovers all year.  That's an NFL record, and is one of the more unreal stats I've ever seen.

I knew, obviously, that Brady wasn't throwing picks, but to see that the entire team is holding on to the ball is incredible.

Haha, my birthday is coming up soon and I told my parents I wanted a white pats jersey.  Im hoping for a McCourty jersey.  My reasoning is that It would be relevant for probably 5 4 years plus the half of the year where we franchise him and hold out.  But other than Brady I think he is the surest thing.

Ya, I was knocking on wood for the last several games really hoping that we set that record.  This quote says alot I think when you look at guys like Eli Manning with 25 picks this year and then the stat below it makes you really appreciate how valuable a guy like brady really is.

We've chronicled the impact of interceptions with our Interception Ladder. It basically says this: With every interception your team throws, it takes one giant step toward defeat. In fact, on average, a team's chances of winning decline by about 20 percent with every interception.

The previous record was set in the strike shortened season in the 80's where they played just 9 games!

Wow, thats awesome, I didnt realize that the previous record was from a shorter season.  Does anybody know the previous record for a 16 game season?

I'm not trying to stir stuff up or troll anyone(I'm a GB fan not a Pats fan) but do any of you kinda wish he threw an INT just to get it out of the way instead of potentially throwing one at sometime in the playoffs? They *could* go up against Ed Reed and the Ravens in the divisional round, and Polamalu and the Steelers in the AFCC..

What do you guys think? Love the record, don't care if he throws one in the playoffs? Love the record and KNOW he won't throw another INT?

I don't wish he threw an interception, I understand your point and don't think your trolling so TP for that, but I think Brady is going to be in Postseason mode, and the interception record will be a faint memory.

I understand your point, but don't think it matters.  I don't think that Brady is a weak headed QB who will get rattled and suddenly start throwing more conservatively because of an INT.
