Where's the noise from the crowd? Come ON, fans! Help out your team!!

Historically, Patriots crowds have never been good.  Gillette Stadium doesn't scare anyone anymore in terms of the crowd.

They're not cheering because they know this is a meltdown mirroring last year

We hung on with a big defensive play .... very sweet!! I think that's the difference between this team and last year's ... they have just enough to hold on when they need to. See ya in the playoffs, Indy, (most likely).

I've heard a lot (from people I know, but also read on message boards) about how the Colts are banged up, how the Steelers were banged up, as if this should take away from the Pats Ws.

But what about the Pats? The Pats have been missing key defensive players all year long... and a few key offensive players.

Loving this new offense.  Definitely better than the offense with Moss the first couple weeks of the season.  Much more balanced and more unpredictable.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Definitely agree with you on this.  I love that the Pats now seem to have a running game (BJGE and Woodhead are a dynamic duo), and I love that we finally have tight ends that contribute.  If Brandon Tate can develop into more of a consistent deep threat, then the Pats will be incredibly dangerous on offense.

Just to refresh our memories:
Lost to injury for the year:

Defense:
CB Leigh Bodden (starter)
DL Ty Warren (starter)
S Brandon McGowan (special teams)

Offense:
OT Nick Kaczur (starter)
RB Kevin Faulk (starter)
K Stephen Gostkowski (starter)

The Gostkowski one is still very troublesome to me.  He's one the best in the game and "Shayne-O-Matic" has certainly been prone to being erratic based on his past track record.  Heck, he already has a missed extra point this season.

In a tight game, Graham is going to give me little ease.

Not good - physically dominated in Detriot on Thanksgiving.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

The defense is getting absolutely worked right now.  Eventually this defense needs to grow up...the whole youth excuse isn't going to work forever

We start what 7 players in their first or 2nd year? They'll grow up, but it takes time. I'd say this defense has far exceeded my expectations for this year. McCourty looks like an absolute stud. Spikes, Cunningham, and Chung look like they'll be starters for years. and Mayo lives in BeastMode.

Great 2nd half, Great 4th quarter in particular. Never seen a team kick off from the other team's 40.
