Impressive, that's what I call an intellectual and constructive post. Congrats!

Dear Sheed'

I never cared much for your game or your attitude, but when you were added to the fold and wrapped in a green uniform, I gave you the benefit of the doubt, and even rooted for you, (as I would for anyone called a Celtic). After much time on the parquet, it's clear that you haven't changed ... you're lazy on defense, won't take a charge or even move to get in front of an opponent's attack, keep your arms at your side, don't like to post up except when you're forced to, would rather flap your gums and get a "T" than keep your mouth shut for the good of the team, and love to keep launching three-point bricks that go in about 10% of the time. You don't possess the attributes that are required for exhibiting Celtic Pride or Ubuntu, and it's clear that you are too set in your ways to change. The trial period is over ... please return to the black hole of basketball that you came from, and take your infectious apathy with you. The best of luck there, of course ... and keep smiling! (After all, it's only a game).

;)

Very concise. But I question if he could play better even if he started trying.

I won't make a long list of his deficiencies- see Bahku's post above for that.

And to those  who say "he's not the problem". Well, he's one of the problems. When you're sixth or seventh man is worse than useless, that's a problem.

Please Doc, just cut his minutes to about .5 per game.

and since we embraced you ...dear sheed
I would like you to show up for playoffs and be the guy I thought would be in the running for 6th man of the year.  Be the low post offensive threat, rebound and hustle.please we need you

It's not that he doesn't have talent. He's just playing lazy. I really don't like how he plays defense either. Often times, he'll just hack an opposing player's arms rather than jumping up and attempting to block the shot.

Key example: Against the Cavs on Sunday, Leon was under the basket and would have faced a very difficult shot. So instead of exercising a modicum of effort, Sheed just hacked Leon and sent him to the line. It's incredibly frustrating to see.

I really hope some of his teammates start to call him out. If I were a player, I'd be embarassed to be on the same team as this guy.

Everyone involved in that ridiculous recruiting trip should be embarrased.

Dear Sheed,

You are the C's best low post scorer by a substantial margin.  In fact you are top 5 low post scorer in the league.  Please realize this and stay in the post more often come playoff time.  Although to be honest do enjoy a few 3's from you now and again.

He is stinking it up lately but yes he can play better. If we are to have any chance in the playoffs Rasheed has got to play like we all know he can. With Rasheed its all effort he has the tools.

The tool he lacks is a motor.
