I am now relegated tot he fact that this team has many issues to overcome to contend for this year's title. They are all well documented and there are too many to dwell on.

I would like to take a look at a recent development that could mean a lot to this team now and definitely in the future. Rondo is shooting 77% from the line this month. he looks so much more confident there and is 100% improved from earlier in the season.

Is anyone else excited about a guy who can get to the rack anytime he wants AND hit his free throws?

I think it's time to start handing more of the scoring load over to RR. Anyone else?

I was going to start a thread called "Mr. Brightside" where we could all list the bright side of how things are going this year.   I had two I was going to submit to start things off.

#1 - Rondo is fantastic.  He's getting better all the time.  We are lucky to have him.

#2 - I live in Seattle and celebrated the 2008 championship loudly and obnoxiously.  Thankfully, I don't have to listen to the locals rub it in my face that their team of children took less than 2 years to leapfrog the champs.   So at least there's that...

rondo has not been the issue this season.  sure he has some flaws in his games, as most players do, but his positive attributes far outweigh his negative ones.

glad to see his free throw shooting improve.

I haven't been able to watch the past few games but i have read that rondo has been shooting well lately. This is obvious from his FT stats but how has been shooting during the game??

His outside shooting was pretty good in the last game. In the previous few games I thought that he was doing a kind of fadeaway and not really staying with the shot, and I kind of got the feeling that it wasn't the play that he wanted to make.

Rondo to me has been one big positive trend this season. I hadn't looked at the stats but I did think was shooting better at the line. TP for confirming my instincts were based on fact.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
