I know the Cavs are the superior team..but the NBA Refs need to get off their knees for the Cavs...it is so obvious.
"The emblem of a warrior, it's the swagger of an athlete, a champion and dynasty, it's gifted, golden, genuine and glorious. It is a lower-case god. It's the goat. The greatest of all time. What's G? It is the heart, hustle and soul of the game."

Not calling Cleveland great.

But all this nonsense about "belief" is really funny at the pro level. It's high school stuff.

Cleveland is on another level compared to this Celtics team. Period. We cannot compete with them, and we don't, quite frankly.

You can rationalize this away all you want, but the Cavaliers are a FAR better club than the Celtics. Younger, more athletic, better shooters, far better on the defensive end, made a significantly better move at the deadline.

It's not close. Nor will it be.

C's were hungry and capable in 08.
C's were hungry and incapable in 09.
C's are not hungry and not capable in 10.

C's are nuttin' in 11.

All the more reason why we should've been AGGRESSIVE at moving Ray at the deadline... but no use crying over spilt milk now...

You want aggression. Watch Danny after this team gets ousted in the first round.

It's coming...

Scary part of this is it is proof of the C's ineptitude against good teams or teams playing well

Yet they still have to play

Milwaukee twice
Houston twice
OKC
Cleveland again
Dallas
Utah
Denver
San Antonio

I have a hard time believing we can win 7 of those games
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

How about the bench going 5-25 from the field and 5-9 from the free throw line.

Exactly, thats what i said above. Terrible terrible game from them, with the exception form Big Baby...he hustled his ass off and played well, even took some charges, but missed 3 freebies.

Outside of Rondo - we have no real tradeable assets, so I'm not holding my breath this summer.

There's no shortage of rationalization on the board these days. One big reason to stay off.

The fact is that the Celtics are not an elite team as constructed - as I told you weeks ago. Too old, not athletic enough, no defense, etc.

It ain't happening this year, folks. Get used to it. We were going nowhere with the kids, so I have no issue with the trades and I'm thrilled with the title. But there's not going to be another with this group. Time to realize that.

There is as much negative "rationalization" here as positive ... I'll lean to the plus side, thanks. When you can't find things to feel positive about your team, time to find a new team. The Celts have played a horrible game today ... period.

Pierce has looked ok today.

Perk/KG/Sheed on the boards and the bench scoring were the main culprits today.

do the celtics even get a game in the second round vs these guys??  I gave them 1 after watching the first half, not so sure now. Reminds me of 03 when the got swept by the nets , right when Danny took over, just not good enough anymore

How much evidence do you need before it's not rationalization but accepting reality?

Give the ball to Ray when the game is over and you can't win it anymore, good strategy... you should have done that before instead of going with Pierce and Perkins. Sigh.

If all this team cares about is the playoffs, why did they play so well at the start of the season? They were 23-5 on Dec 27.  :(

This **** all bench lineup at the beginning of the 2nd and 4th is absolutely ridiculous. Remember when we kept Pierce or Ray in at the end with the second unit? That way we could somewhat stabilize some semblance of an offense when the starters go out. Those 5 fouls on KG didn't help things either, he was looking pretty good to start.

With all do respect, Ray Ray does have 14 shots so far... so it's not like he wasn't getting looks, he just starting hitting them.
