Can't remember when I've ever seen a team get in the penalty before they even score a point in the quarter.

Has nothing whatsoever to do with believing.

Cleveland is the better team - BY FAR.

We win maybe - maybe - one game in a playoff series with this Cleveland team. A sweep is a very real possibility.

Don't confuse Cleveland greatness with the Celtics playing one of the worst games of the season.

you can't beat a team as good as the Cavs when you don't score for 7 MINUTES!

We can argue about how good Cleveland is or isn't.

What's clear is they are a FAR stronger team than us.

Game. Do players even believe anymore?
No, I don't think they do.

I think they have lost their confidence. I think they've been beaten too many times. Too many hurtful losses where they tried to gear up for the game but where unable to get it done.

They won't admit but I absolutely believe that this team is low on confidence/belief.

Might as well enjoy the last of the big3. And don't stress about it. It was a fun run.
Go Denver,
Go Dallas,
Go Orlando.

Not calling Cleveland great.

But all this nonsense about "belief" is really funny at the pro level. It's high school stuff.

Cleveland is on another level compared to this Celtics team. Period. We cannot compete with them, and we don't, quite frankly.

You can rationalize this away all you want, but the Cavaliers are a FAR better club than the Celtics. Younger, more athletic, better shooters, far better on the defensive end, made a significantly better move at the deadline.

It's not close. Nor will it be.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

The Celtics badly underperformed once again tonight and they've shown no signs of being able to snap out of this and consistently regain or play at their peak form.

Once again, the typical "too little too late" run. Just adds to the frustration of watching this team.

TP..Exactly.
"The emblem of a warrior, it's the swagger of an athlete, a champion and dynasty, it's gifted, golden, genuine and glorious. It is a lower-case god. It's the goat. The greatest of all time. What's G? It is the heart, hustle and soul of the game."

Please.  At what point do we accept that the reason this team is losing is because they're just not good enough to beat the top teams in the league?

They didn't make a good move at the deadline, Jamison makes them better against bad teams. But against the good ones he's almost a defensive weakness. There Best lineup is Mo, Parker, LBJ, JJ, and Verajao...

At least with this team, you know we aren't gonna have to endure ANOTHER 7 game series in the playoffs this season  ;)

Cause lets face it, second round, our team will lose in 5, 6 at the most
