How much you wanna bet he is doing this simply to stick it to the C's fans and organization? It's bad enough that Lebron is taking Bill Russell's number as his own out of respect for "MJ: the best player of all time"  But for gun-slinging Gil to take the number too? He's always been bitter at the organization, but this is ridiculous. I can't think of any other reason as to why Gil would take #6.

"6" isn't retired by the entire league so until it is, I don't think we should get fired up everytime someone either wears the number or switches to it.

Why would Arenas care about the Celtics? WHy because one player wore number 6 no one else on the planet can wear it? I dont understand this fuss, a player should be able to wear whatever freakin number they want... Plus its Arenas, I still dont get why you think he is trying to stick it to the celtics?
