They are not a contender right now but the playoffs didn't start tonight. I still believe that they have the talent to be a contender come playoff time if they get it together. If they don't then they probably will be a second round exit.

TP.

That's about how I feel right now..good summary.

If they go into the playoffs playing this way, it's a first round exit.

Basically Cs are already on playoffs
so
who knows
If we qualify 4-5

I still see a chance making a deep tun in second round
and after that
is just a matter of hot hand and legs

I don't care anymore. The playoffs will come soon enough. I'm done lamenting the regular season that was, I'm just gonna watch and hope.

And I'm going to pray Kevin Garnett starts sleeping in a hyperbolic chamber and begins bathing in Hydroderm Age Defying Wrinkle serum.

If only KG were the only problem.

The C's still have 19 games in order to build some momentum before heading into playoffs.

These guys have a lot of talent and the Vets also know that this is prob their last chance at getting a ring so I really expect this team to get it all together and put in the type of effort + determination that we have yet to see from them.

Still not counting these guys out.....we are more stacked compare to last season and if we can put as much effort in the playoffs that we did last season (despite being short handed) then I like our chances.

(lol...I know some might laugh...but for some reason I am still not ready to call quits on this team)

A healthy spring 2008 KG makes this thread irrelevant. He might never be that again, but the same swagger, with the ability to back it up, I believe this team would be a completely different animal.

If we come in 4th in the East, just think, we get to play Milwaukee in a seven game series in the first round

I guess the Big Three might have to make some early May tee times times if that is true because as much as some are saying a second round exit, I can't honestly state at this time that this team can beat Milwaukee in a seven game series

They might done after one round
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

Thanks for the tp.

And I am actually Indian and one of the translations of my name does mean zodiac sign...but the other translation is wealth. LOL...might sound a bit odd if you aren't an Indian.

I still believe. Docs has to wake up though. Players dont know their roles right now. The offense is pathetic for as many good shooters we have.

Adding a vintage 1993 Michael Jordan to this team would make this thread irrelevant. But neither he nor spring-08 KG is walking through that door. Time waits for no man.

I no long know what to think. My head says they should be a contender. My gut says no way. My heart has  stopped working.  And because it's all out of my hands I'm just going to wait and see what happens.

Are you really counting the Celtics out of a series against the Bucks when we just lost to them by 2 points? As bad as we've been I'd be pretty shocked if we lost to the bucks 4 times in a 7 game series.

I think there's still a chance...i never say never as long as you got five capable guys who can come alive at any time.I still believe this starting 5 can wake up and put their  games together.I don't have a lot of faith in the bench though, especially Sheed. He is lazy and was in poor condition from the start to now.I feel he disrespected the ownership and teammates by coming in the season with a lackadascal attitude towards the game.Even if e picks it up in the playoffs it will not change my bad feelings about him going forward.

Maybe if i never witness it before i might not be as optimistic but seeing is believing and if you can do it once you can figure it out again.
