ok folks, we have all 12 teams confirmed.  I have 5 teams keepers (including my own)  (year 2000, birdman, the keith foulkes, knuckleballers)

So the teams I still need are:
Naturals
Redz Sockz
stop snitchin
makin bacon
minnesota m&m boys
sac fly
gomes fan

I am hesitant to reactivate the league until I have everyone's, because I am not sure if I will need to do the full set up all at once (and I dont want to do it part way and then have to stop).

Also, sunday march 21 at 6 ET hasnt been objected to yet (I think barring any one objecting, that is a good day.  if people want later, we can change it, but lets try and decide that soon also)

I also want to confirm that we agreed to reverse order of REGULAR SEASON standings for draft order, (someone correct me if I am wrong, I really cant remember)?  Was there an adjustment of the top teams based on who won the league, or was it just straight reverse order of regular season...? Roy, I think you'll know best because I think you were a big proponent of changing it that way.

I think it was simple reverse order from the regular season.  I wouldn't mind modifying that in the future to be reverse order, but the top two playoff teams get the two last picks.

ok.  So what I have for draft order is as follows (I took the % to reorder the teams, not jsut the highest win total -- I think that is proper...because Yahoo lists them as they were after the season, with playoffs affecting it.):

12 Ya'll Hate 140-69-11 .661
11 Stop Snitchin' 123-75-22 .609
10 The Knuckleballers 126-81-13 .602
9  Minnesota M&M Boys 2 121-84-15 .584
8  Year 2000 101-101-18 .500
7  The Naturals 102-105-13 .493
6  Redz' Sockz 100-107-13 .484
5  The Keith Foulkes 99-111-10 .473
4  GomesFan 92-108-20 .464
3  Makin' Bacon 76-122-22 .395
Rondo2287Birdman 78-135-7 .370
1  Sac Fly 71-131-18 .364

I also recall it being snake order (I know this was a point of discussion, but I think snake ended up winning out)

Just sent my keepers.  I remember discussing all of the draft possibilities and I'm comfortable with what's been proposed so far.  Reverse of regular season standings (though I am also open to modifying this in the future), snake, etc., all sound good!

  • The good ole days.
I also prefer Sunday nights (anytime weekends, but I like sunday nights).

is everyone ok with Sunday March 21 at say 6 pm ET for the draft (just a suggestion...)?

That might not work for me.... going out of town that weekend and 3pm on Sunday (Cali kid here) will likely fall smack in the middle of a 4 hour drive home.  Don't know my travel plans though so don't adjust on my account.

Still waiting on one owner.  If he doesnt send me the keepers by the end of today, I will be replacing his team (I have sent multiple emails and pms which have not been responded to).

I will make that stuff available as soon as I can (once everyone signs into yahoo, I will post everyone's keepers here) so that people can adequately plan their drafts

Ok, the league is finally all set.

We are set to have a draft this Sunday (the 21st) at 6:15 PM ET.

I will remind people, because it came up last year, the draft order will look backwards (i.e., my team 'has' first pick), but this was necessary to get the proper order with the keepers (since we keep an odd number).  the league will jump to the 8th round when the draft starts, and it will have the proper order at that time (ASSUMING that they haven't changed the process from last year)

I will post a list of the players in a little bit.

I encourage everyone to look at the league settings, position availability, scoring, etc...and raise any issues as soon as possible so we can deal with them before the draft.
