Just makes you wonder how many other of Docs favourite vets he would have outplayed given the chance. I am thinking Scalabrine and that scatter-brain Tony Allen who never looks comfortable out there (Although I am not denying he can play, he just can't seem to think)

I really liked Billy from the first time he came on the floor ... glad to see him getting a chance to prove himself, but I wish it had been Doc giving him the chance ... makes you wonder. Guess we pulled another "Chauncey" ;)

I wish Doc gave him a little more of a chance but lets not make him an allstar yet.  Several stiffs have had big games for a couple weeks under D'antoni.  If D'antoni sticks to his inconsistent gameplan, Walker will be burried on the bench in a week or so.

The awkward thing is that I'm not sure if I'm rooting for him to have huge games or not.  I want him to be good, but I don't want to feel like we let another good one get away.  Plus after telling my friends that he can't play, I look dumber with every 20pt game.  My friends think I'm retarded every time I say Tony Allen is better than Walker at this stage.

Marcus Banks also looked like a respectable basketball player for a while in Minnesota after we traded him.  That certainly died off.

Bill Walker is not Marcus banks there are thousands of players that looked good that turned out bad and equally thousnads that were not given a chance at one club only to flourish at another. Argue each case on it;s merits a throw away comment like that makes no sense at all and is quite meaningless.

bad argument you are not looking at the individual and but rather what other people with whom he has no control over and concluding that somehow this is an indicator of what Walker will do. If this were science you would get an F

Yes I'm sure D'antoni thought it was crucial to keep Walkers foul count low.  He wound up with a whopping 3 fouls.

As we all saw before TA blew out his knee, he's capable of putting up 20 a game on a bad team. He's also a much better defender than Walker.

In principal you're right; however, the point remains, there have been lots of bad player who have good statistical nights on bad teams.

When Bill Walker is doing this on a) a team that is good and b) a team that plays defense (probably the same thing), let me know.

Until then, we need to stop worrying about him.

No he got 3 fouls early D'Antoni sat him Chandler played well do D'Antoniu ran with that. walker came back in late didn't foul again. this is bog standard garden variety basketball coaching. I am not sure what you are driving at.
