I think I would take Davis over Williams on the Fast break,  one for hist many steals and 2 for the the fact that he gets up and down the court at faster pace.

The rest look really good to me.  I hope to see some of these mix and matches.

I agree with you on BBD, i mostly chose Shelden because of his ability to finish above the rim. Either way RR, Nate, and TA is deadly on a break.

If Scal were shooting the rock better, I'd put him in the fast break team to stretch the floor from beyond the arc.

I don't mind Scal as a PF, though his poor performances partly due for him playing SF so much this season makes me doubt he'd be of much use this season.

I like Paul and/or Ray as trailers on the fast break lineup. If you don't get a layup, get an open three.

Isn't Pierce one of the top 3 pt shooters in the league?  I'd put Pierce in over Finley?

For the fastbreak lineup I'd either go small with Pierce at the four or keep Perkins on the floor.

Perkins defense + rebounding makes him a very effective trigger man for a fastbreaking team. Whatever minuscule speed advantage BBD or Shelden have over Perk is insignificant in comparison to that + in comparison to the general talent downgrade you're going to suffer.

I'd be tempted to put Daniels in the lineup instead of Nate Robinson too. Daniels is very effective in the open court.

I didn't mean to do that.

I meant:

Rondo, Ray, Finley, Pierce, Wallace

What I'm really wondering about with Finley, is whether he'll be part of the some small lineups with the starters that we used to run with Posey here.  At 6-7, he's probably the size of (if not taller than) BBD.  And given the fact that our two biggest competitors for the East crown sport perimeter oriented power forwards (Jamison and Lewis), I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Doc give Finley many, if not all, of BBD's minutes in a series against Cleveland or Orlando.

Pierce is 5th:

Mike Miller WAS .539
Daniel Gibson CLE .479
Arron Afflalo DEN .454
Anthony Parker CLE .449
Paul Pierce BOS .444

Shocking I know right?  I just prefer to never see him unless we have nice lead or someone is hurt allowing him to move up the depth chart.

I agree that Davis makes more sense than Shelden in the fast break lineup (not that I think we'll ever see that lineup out there).

If I were able to go super small, I would put Ray instead of Williams for the fast break. Shelden cannot handle Rondo's passes. Free throws (at end of game scenarios in particular)- I would put in Rondo instead of Wallace because Rondo is good at inbounding the ball.

I like Ray on the running (fast break) lineup. He still runs the floor extremely well and nails trailing threes.

TA can run but he also makes boneheaded decisions sometimes.
