Bears signed Brandon Manumaleuna, former Chargers TE which paves the way for them to trade Greg Olsen to the Patriots for a pick

... and the Pats released Baker, meaning there is an even higher need for a TE.
Still, as good as Olsen is, I am not sure it is the way to go, given how infrequently the Pats rely on TEs.

The Pats will be drafting 3 TE's anyways, so no need to worry.

Hmmm, sort of like this with the first 3 picks?
Jermaine Gresham
Rob Gronkowski
Tim Tebow (who transforms himself to a TE).

Then with that last pick in the 2nd round, the Pats.... trade for Greg Olsen.

Taylor to the Bears, that's something I've very happy about.

Lots of money spent, we'll see if it ends up with a trip to the playoffs.

Those are some low expectations for that kinda money.

The biggest issue facing the Bears last year was their poor offensive line play. So far that hasn't been addressed, if that issue isn't corrected then no matter how Peppers/Taylor/etc. perform they still won't go far.

As for expectations, I think improving 4 or 5 games is a pretty big turn around. That's what it will take to make the playoffs. Once you're in the playoffs its all about how well you play at the end, WC SB appearances and wins have all happened recently.
