Nate has really sparked the second unit. Hitting 3's is contagious. Seems that as soon as he starts hitting them, so does Sheed and even MQD.

Nate is going to be a really good spark for this team. I said it when this trade was going to happen and did happen. People are going to enjoy what he brings to this team. He had 14 points in 15 minutes and 16 tonight in 20. Gotta love those numbers. Really enjoy seems like he is clicking with this whole team. Hopefully things start looking up for us.

I like how he's had a 40 point plus game against a team we struggled with, the Hawks. He's also had very solid games against the Cavs, Magic and Lakers. It will be nice if he can have a couple blow out games against these teams

I like how he and TA fly around the court. But I'm skeptical. If Nate's 3's stop falling (like what happens in prolonged stretches to Rasheed, Ray, Eddie) ...what then? These 3's aren't sustainable.

Hence, the Ornery Child must go. Time for Danny to role the dice on 6'10" Larry Sanders in this summer's draft.

http://www.nbadraft.net/players/larry-sanders

"Post player with tremendous defensive upside due to his unbelievable length: has a 7-foot-7 wingspan (His arms need their own insurance policy) plus good timing and explosiveness ... Already a bigtime shot blocker and is on his way to becoming an absolutely dominant one. As a freshman he averages just 16 minutes per game but is already tied for 10th in the country in blocked shots at 3.0 per game. His block per minute average is the best in the country ... Very fluid and fast running the floor. Shows a solid motor, hustling the floor and fighting for rebounds ... Has excellent foot speed and lateral quickness for a bigman ..."

Nate + 4 athletic defenders. Press and run.  ;D

I'm too old to fall in love that fast. I'll let you know in a few months.

lol me too. Been burned too many times haha

But he's only played in 5 games and already has as many really good games (2) as Cassell and Marbury had in their combined 60 (or whatever it was). I'm really digging Nate.

The only person who may not be loving Nate is BBD.

Don't really need a short, overweight, pf who gets constantly stuffed. Dude fancies himself a go-to guy. And will be expecting a big pay day.

BBD = Danny's next trade chip.  ;D
That was out of left field.  :-\

Maybe so but it hit the nail on the head. Baby is becoming a black hole. I think it's time for KG to make him cry again. Oh, and NATE rocks.

To be fair, no one is as good as their best shooting games, no matter where the take the shots from.

While I too worry about the many cold shooting nights that will come, his penetration threat is so great that he is a great addition nonetheless.

He had as many shots as assists today.

Nate is the NBA bench equivalent of a slumpbuster.

You are on a dry streak, every fattie at last call starts looking good.

But they are still fat.

Guy is a chucker and defensive liability. He was taking contested 3s with 18 seconds left in the shot clock and no one under the basket the other night. Dude is like Antoine's Mini-Me.

He'll give you two losses for every win, IMO. Play him, but don't resign him unless it is hella cheap. There are better options out there to give money and minutes to.

JMO.

Well to be fair putting it up is what Nate was brought here to do. He's not starter material but like fellow former Knick Crawford on the Hawks, he can be a serious weapon off the bench. He's not supposed to have a conscience, nor was Eddie. Eddie was the definition of a chucker but he was supposed to be.

There ill be nighs where NAte is of but what he brings offsets it..

pretty cool when his shots are falling, but I don't expect it to last.   And he's a defensive liability.   In the long run it will not help or hurt us.
