Do we really need BBD in?  I think I'd rather see PP at the 4.

I'm really loosing faith in Davis. For everything he does well, he seams to take something away. Stop trying to do too much!!! Stay within your game!
I think most of Davis' problems emanate from playing the wrong position.

Glen Davis is not a power forward. He is not an effective player there.

To an extent, but he's trying to do to much. He's at his best as a cutting big man and as a pick-and-pop player. He just doesn't have enough post-up moves at the moment to keep feeding him the ball in that position.

If he doesn't improve, come playoff time I'd be curious to see either a) Shelden get his minutes, b) Wallace just play all the backup minutes at the 4/5, or c) PP get some spot "Posey" minutes at the 4 in a small lineup.  Or maybe a d) all of the above.

3 Big-men rotation is enough. It's how we got our championship when Powe and Davis were playing like crap.

I blaming Doc at the moment for a collapse in the 2nd. Nice recovery to finish the half though.

Doc's line changes always seem to kill the momentum in this team.

I'd like to see Glen Davis dropped from the rotation come playoff time. I don't see any value in giving him playing time at Perk's expense.

Actually, not dropped, but a huge reduction in minutes. A 5-10 minute a night player.

I still want Rasheed's minutes kept in the mid 20s. I'm not convinced that he can play at a high level for 30 minutes a night anymore. So there is still some use for a fourth big in the playoffs.

They are getting inside opportunies on almost every possession -- and often multiple opportunities.  I can't help but believe this can be improved upon.

I am curious why BBD is getting the grief here.  In my view, it's Perk, KG and Sheed who have been too slow to the ball -- constantly.

Once again, Nate is the difference maker tonight. Already more impact that Eddie had this season.

We are shooting a high percentage (62.9%, 85.7% from 3-pt),
and we are only up by 9 at halftime....

Sounds familiar......?

Well, the defense isn't there quite yet (though 45 points isn't horrible for a half).  However, I'm very pleased to see PP turning it around.  Even if the defense takes a little while to come around, they can win a lot of games with everyone just doing what they usually do on offense.  Unfortunately for the C's, I'm not sure that's happened at any point yet in the season, given Ray's cold start to the season and KG and PP's injuries.

Doc's line changes always seem to kill the momentum in this team.

I thought the momentum lost before the change.  He waited too long, but it certainly seemed like the bench lineup was on a roll.  The starters should not blow leads the way they did.  Not Docs fault -- the starters fault.

The conundrum for Doc, is that if Nate is just the backup PG, it's going to be hard to get him minutes.  They're really going to have to play him with Rondo to get big minutes.

That won't happen if we're going to play a full "second unit."

Also, Here's a question...When the ball went off the heel of TA on a Charlotte fast Break, WHY was it called a "kicked ball"?....Felton threw it off TA's heel---TA didn't put his foot out to knock it away.....These refs have to start getting the calls right---it cost us 2 points---cause they got the ball back and scored.

Nate played closer to 7 minutes.  Pierce got 14 in 14.

Why do we have to always blame someone? This is not personally directed at you Bud.....but the other team is here to play too...every team will throw back some punches and make some sort of run. Its how we handle/react to those punches that will determine the outcome. Our team is certainly learning how to take some punches...and I believe this will help them in the playoffs. I'm in no way advocating this behaviour or pattern...but we have to realise that the other team is a pro too..and they will try to make a run/take a lead as well.
