Is there any playoff team out there that should sign Mark Blount?

Could he be a decent stop gap signing for the Cavs until they sign Big Z? Or perhaps provide some extra big man depth for the Nuggets? Give San Antonio some added length inside + the midrange jump shot to give Duncan some space in the paint? Portland could still use another big man or two also.
Or because of his history of being a pain in the ass that doesn't give a [dang] because he has his paycheck he could be unemployed permanently from the NBA

Just wanted to give you another option for his possible future

 :) :D ;D
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

I'd rather be strapped to a chair with my eyelids forced open permanently while being forced in front of a television watching video of every Laker championship game and celebration ever than have Mark Blount on the C's again

id rather get repeatedly kicked in the gonads.

The most frustrating thing about Mark Blount aside from the various other reasons mentioned earlier is that, money and contract stuff aside, for about two months when he really applied himself and worked hard we saw the type of player that he's capable of being if he applies himself.

So many other 7 footers in the league cant cut it for so many different reasons, but to see that Blount had the capability to be a GOOD center in this league but chose to be lumped in with all the other stiffs because he wanted to take it easy is the easily the reason why I hate him the most.

I dont wanna see him chewing his gum in green ever again.

I hope everyone knows i was joking.
he is the exact opposite of what this team needs right now.

i didn't even know he was still on a roster and the idea that he's itching to go for the playoffs is frankly hysterical.

  • #18 at any cost.
Would love to see the Cavs sign him. Shaq would probably give him a good nickname. I could also picture Lebron verbally abusing him on the court after fumbling a couple easy passes  ;D

Blount should be the Nuggets top target if Kenyon Martin is indeed out for the rest of the season.

Blount is their best chance of salvaging whatever is possible out of this year.

If Wyc feels like making a 300K joke, I'm all for it for old times sake.  It's not like he'd play anyway.

And for that vague (and appropriate) Kubrick reference...TP.

You and DL are actually onto a more humane alternative.

I always thought that team's biggest problem was their lack of time together with Antoine coming back midseason. I thought if that team had a training camp + full season they would have been a good-to-very good squad that was a threat to make a playoff run.

Not a title contender but a 50 win club who could win one or two rounds in the playoffs.
