So, if they are bored, why are they only bored for parts of games? For example, they were not bored in the first half against Cleveland, but something must have happened in the locker room to make them bored in the second half. I also assume they were not bored in first halves of the other 11 games since Christmas, for example Orlando or Atlanta, where they built nice, double-digit leads. Again, they only became bored in the second half and lost all of these games. I wish  Perk would get the story straight. This is a team that gets bored, but mostly in the second half, unless you are playing the worst team in tthe history of the NBA. Then you are bored for the entire game.

I think this entire line of thought is ridiculous.

The bored can come into play on effort plays. If you are in the playoffs, you run full steam to get back on D every time. If you are bored, you watch the opponent's fast break from the rear.

There are a lot of plays like that when teams aren't putting in the effort or are 'pacing' themselves.

Well, I do think they are bored a bit in games like Sunday's (and this was the case last year as well), but for the most part, I think that is just an excuse or rationalization, so they can keep their ego's afloat and not accept the fact that they just are not that good right now.

The huge answer is, "overreaction". No doubt they're getting bored during some of these games, and certainly they aren't going full-on for the whole game, but the real issues and problems with this team lie elsewhere.

Didn't you answer your own question? They jump out to a big lead and get bored, right?

That makes no sense. If they were bored, wouldn't it be for the whole game? This whole thing is a joke and an excuse for the fact that they are no longer a top team. That's all.

So if it's just an excuse, why are you crying about it so much?

Not crying. The team either needs to manup or shutup.

Well you've been at it non-stop for quite a bit now, saying the same crap over and over about how you're staring at your season ticket invoice, etc., etc.

Maybe you can split the bill with me  ;D

And I have posted TWICE about my invoice.

Na', but I'll thank you for helping finance our championship run this year. Too bad you will not enjoy the journey. I'm relaxed, and got a tan like Scal.

they aren't "bored".  They are just getting beat.   The "bored" thing is an excuse.

It makes perfect sense. Why would they have to be bored for the whole game?

If they were looking for an excuse, wouldn't they start with PP and KG being constantly in and out of the lineup?
